Issues
A few issues in no particular order:

  • It's too easy to win the game by getting 5 roman legions.
  • If another civ (or neutrals) have a pillaged farm or other building, you can't capture it, meaning that the territory it controls is forever lost under their control.
  • Caravans can at times bring things with the selling price higher than the buying price at that moment, allowing one to exploit it for infinite money.
  • You should be able to build train galleys outside your settlement, otherwise if your map has two major but unconnected bodies of water tough luck, you can't do anything about it.
  • Civilizations should start with military forces, even if a purely defensive can't-get-out-of-their-settlement unit. Maybe representing the ruler direct retainer and bodyguards, as well as pops picking up arms as levy and militia to defend themselves.
  • Diplomacy other than responding to whatever other civs initiate seems nonexistant, or so opaque that it might as well be nonexistant.

The game has a lot of potential, but honestly, right now it should have been released as Early Access, not as actually release. It feels deceitful when so many of the game systems are a complete broken mess.

can you add to this list the following.

if two clans are fueding. one clan dies. the other retains the fueding modifier. this sould nto be the case. if your caln is alive and yoru fuedign rivels are dead. why are you still feuding?

after the first two maps the game starts to genrate random maps, that seam to palce your faction in almost imposible starting locations. some player get tis more then others. while soem get its to the point is make the game unplayable.

there should be a way to stop your clans from totaly depleating a resource. a simple button you can toggle on and off in game setting would be nice.
