Steam Refund policy and RTS games
I really think it's unfair to have a hard 2 hour window on games that a single match can take 45+ min, especially when there's a lot of waiting in menus to find a match or, in my case, having to mess around building a deck in something like Broken Arrow. I played 2 matches and I'm at 4 hours. I absolutely hate the game and also feel mislead on the current state of it. There aren't even tooltips or descriptions for any button or icon. Cheating is rampant according to steam discussions, and there's a huge imbalance in the factions as it is, which I experienced immediately. I can't refund because I had to watch a video on how to build a deck while alt tabbed? Come on. 2 hours for an RTS is very little time to make an assessment.

I feel absolutely robbed.

SIngle Player exists.
You have enough time to try that.

The focus and selling point of the game is the multiplayer and the deck building. Don't respond if you don't know what you're talking about.

Sounds like if you played 2 matches at 4 hours, you should have stopped at 1 match, at 2 hours.

Choose "I still have a question..."

Explain the entire issue carefully.

And hope for the best.

Good to see it's still just toxic people lurking in even the base steam forums. Thanks for not even reading what I wrote.

So with knowledge and immediate disappointment, you still pushed forward for 4 hours thinking it would change?
So the game works. You are not entitled to a refund.

Buyers remorse is NOT a valid reason for a refund

Refunds aren't there for you to demo games.

You did not read reviews prior to purchasing and if so why still purchase?

OPoint still stands. Just because the multiplayer is the key area of content for you doesn't mean its the only area and the single player in just about any RTS basically showcases the mechanics, and general strategic patterns of the game.

2 hours is more than enough time if you're actually doing it right.

Of course I did. Reviews have been good. Video has been good. Actually playing it felt quite different. It's hilarious how hostile and toxic this forum is, it's actually worse than any specific game's forum. Sorry that I'm not a professional refunder who knows how to "game the system" like you guys? Who has time for that, let alone to be upset about it
People are "professional refunders" because they know the policy and understand what a refund policy is actually for?

You can try a manual ticket and hope for the best, but it's entirely on you to be outside the 2 week/2 hour window.

The responsibility of purchases are yours. There is no satisfaction guarantee. Yes, that sometimes means you aren't happy with a purchase, but that's nobody elses problem.
