Make sure you are using the latest Crowbar (0.72).

If you are using Crowbar 0.72 and getting that error, then Steam is glitching.

Crowbar does the decompiling itself, but calls a compiler tool that is usually found with each source engine game; that is why the Compile tab has "Game that has the model compiler". You need to compile using the same compiler that was used for this model to get all the features found in this model.

I am unable to assist in finding which game's compiler was used for this model; I do not keep track of the compiler features of each game.

The flexcontroller name can not have the plus sign "+" unless it is wrapped in double-quotes, so you must wrap all the flexcontroller names.

For example:

Eventually, I will have Crowbar do this wrapping upon decompile, but for now, you have to do this workaround manually.

Would you paste the entire web address? The given link is incomplete and I do not know which website it is.

Most likely there is a space or invalid character in the flex or flexcontroller name, which works in DMX format, but Crowbar decompiles only to QC+SMD for flexes and flexcontrollers.

I will check out the model and see if I can find the correct fix for it to recompile.
