The game will be removed from the libraries of everyone who purchased the game through Steam, the developers contacted Valve to request global refunds for all buyers. It'll be the same situation as The Culling 2, where all store buyers had the game refunded and removed from their accounts. There's not much else to say, that's the way this particular case was handled and there's nothing that can be done about it.

You're currently sitting at 42 Removed games and 36 Purchase Disabled games, for a total of 78. You currently need 200 Removed + Purchase Disabled games to join.

NBA 2K9 was retail steamworks, but 2k10-12 were not, retail steam keys for these were never available (though steam keys were sold through digital distribution, but those have long since been removed). Everything after that, though, has a steam key with a physical copy of the game. At this point you'll most likely have to find a trader with a copy if you want it.

Battlefield 2 Complete, Cryostasis, Deadpool, FUEL, Metro: Last Light Complete, SAW, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 have been sold (some a long time ago, some recently, cleaning up the post).

Usually gifting games that aren't available in your region comes down to two things, locks and the default pricing for your region. If a game is locked to certain regions, gifting will obviously not be allowed, but for getting games from cheaper regions, it comes down to Valve's default pricing system for your country. Devs don't need to add prices for every region, they're able to use the default pricing model, which will be certain percents of the US listed price. If a game is not available in your country, gifting from a cheap region may be blocked because the price there could be cheaper than the default price that would be set for your country, it's something pretty obscure but I've seen it come up before.

Are you just trying to get the game cheaper? You can't gift to regions that are cheaper than your own anymore, they stopped allowing for that years ago.

The broken achievements were just removed about 10 minutes ago, so the game can now be completed.

Discussing relevant information regarding a game's removal is fine, as long as it doesn't get too off track. Specific info about a game about to be removed or just removed is relevant (at least in my opinion), so the extent I see here is fine (assuming you were referring to the info about the achievement comment).

I just deleted about 30 posts made in the last few days that didn't really have much to do with the thread's focus, hopefully that clears it up a bit. Sorry if your post was removed and it was more relevant, but let's try to have at least a little focus here, being a little sidetracked is one thing, but what was happening the last few days was a bit much.
