Well, Greenlight's a walk in the park with the god damn Care Bears after the deluge of shit that is Steam Direct. Let's put it that way.
I get that Valve doesn't want to come off as an authoritarian-like dictator by striking down certain games from getting on to their store front but for fuck's sake, so long as you know where the line is and you DON'T cross it, having some god damn standards in place and barring entry to people who are BLATANTLY abusing the system is actually a GOOD thing for the market. It's like what Jim Sterling said in one of his videos, about how Steam is like an Applebee's but it lets ANYONE in to the kitchen to cook up food for its customers, even though some of those people have no right whatsoever to be in said kitchen because they can't cook or they have severe emotional/mental problems and will lash out at anyone/anything that has even the SLIGHTEST problem with their cooking.
I fear the situation will only get worse before it gets any better. How much worse, remains to be seen. All I can say is, brace yourself boys and girls. We're in for one helluva bumpy ride.
They don't want negative tags.

yes. and no they haven't stated specifics AFAIK, but considering that they went for the (too) low submission fee in the first place I assume devs prolly won't need to do much to in order to get their fee back.
(or signing up for Steam Direct page)
How do you think would that help if Valve instead increases sales requirement for those $100 to return?
