You are implying that a random Chinese company stole the code of a Western software and tries to sell it as its own? I am sure that never happened before. :D

At any rate, yes, it is the first Battlefield (when it still contained a game and not just a spunkgargleweewee). Even the store images are from old publication material, it seems.

Game has been updated and Battlefield 1942 screenshots and information removed.
Answering and monitoring this thread to keep the developer from starting a flame war.

Thank you for informing us about this, awesome to see the community getting in and helping out.

On a side note and for future reference, if you see any copyright infringement of any kind please do email the Legal Team of the Company that owns the IP. If they have no legal contact info you can contact their support or community moderators.

This came up on my YoutTube feed yesterday. Looks like EA got to them (as predicted) and pulled the game.

Now offense to those people making clickbaity videos but what makes them think that Valve knows about existance of Battlefield 1942 games so much that they can spot the stolen assets/game instantly?

Its like complaining to Ikea that they selling products from X company and they didn't knew that it was actually from Y company but X was trying to profit on their made products.
