Somebody plz take a look on Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem
https://steamhost.cn/app/424370/Wolcen_Lords_of_Mayhem/
This one is the weird one. While devs didnt do anything insane yet, its definely worth to keep an eye on them:
- Game is in development for 3 years. Where first 1.5-2 years were almost silent (in terms of updates), then devs completely remade everything - begining with concept (its not a titan quest-like singleplayer game anymore, but something closer to PoE or D3 - with servers and stuff) and ending with battle system. Not sure if its fair to do such major changes after begining of early access (I mean - while its still "in development", everyone can buy it and play now. As reviews show, there are people who bought it back in 2016, who didnt like what game became).
- There is at least one public report of forum censorship, but I didnt find any proofs so far https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/Kellas1/recommended/424370/
- Game was also sold on GoG, but devs didnt update it for years. At the end of day - now its officially going through removal process (its a bit unclear if these customers will be able to get a refund) https://www.gog.com/forum/general/removal_of_wolcen_lords_of_mayhem/page1

Sooooooo.......what seems to be the problem, again?
Sounds like a typical butthurt developer of early access game on Steam.

Sadly 99/100 devs treat EA like a free ride to gobble up cash, do anything, and (sometimes) deliver something. From what you say these guys are morally bankrupt, there's nothing dirty here going on other than a bunch of devs who are doing whatever they want with little or no regard to their customers and community.

To be fair when they first started working on it they had almost no cash or team to speak of, they're now fully supported by Crytek and have backing so it could be more so that they finally got a chance to make what they envisioned the game to be based on.

Please don't report censorship without proof, that could be as simple as someone saying something malicious and then editing it last minute.
Also the removal of the game doesn't mean that it wont be updated and GOG will most likely allow for refunds, if not then I assume they will continue updating it via the Steam branch.

I also don't understand the toxicity towards a developer who was actively working on their game (check their Twitter, YouTube and the CryEngine forums for their updates about what they're working on)

If you do have any questions about the development of games in general and why some developers can go silent please do ask here. We can try asking the developers and as there are developers here who have worked in the industry and understand development delays and changes.

Please however do not directly contact the developer with negativity as it does not help anyone.
