Idk, it says that it's about Hungarian devs right in the tagline. If they got as far as to know which language to use, they have seen that the curator is not for them.

I referred by trickery for them to pretend they were a Hungarian dev, rather than the favourable part.

Low stakes, but it still feels like unethical behaviour from a dev.

I have a curator that reviews games made by Hungarian developers. Today I got a curator offer with a machine translated Hungarian letter asking me to favourably review their game. (Luckily Google Translate is terrible with Hungarian, so it's easy to spot that it wasn't written by an actual speaker.)

I went to their website and it's all Korean-named guys living in Korea, so nothing to do with Hungary. I sometimes get irrelevant curator offers, but this is the first time where it felt they were trying to trick me.

There has been some controversy around its production, when in 2016 part of the developer team of a game called Breeding Season accused Cloud Meadow's developer of running off with their art assets and half their money due to unfavourable contracts, which led to the cancellation of the Breeding Season game.

I found the review informative. The ad for the curator is a common practice amongst curator-reviewers.

"creator of it did act like an total a-hole" is just by the word of the developer, as those posts got deleted.

The point of the thread is to see if anyone else can corroborate this information, or knows of a way to see deleted forum posts that I'm not aware of.

I'm not sure why you're so hostile.

According to this review:

not only did the developer permanently ban me from the forum after the negative review, the following day he removed 3 of my screenshots for supposedly breaking community guidelines, when in fact they don't.

Unfortunately I can't see any way to prove or disprove these allegations.

Yeah, I looked into the dev after I saw the Sentinel curation entry for We Become What We Behold. At least, aside of these two, Mismatch's other games on Steam seems to be their own work.
