Wrench

The Crafty Chain-Killer

Colloquially known as the Chopper. Get to it.

+On kill with Sentry: Gain 2 seconds of minicrits.
+On kill with Primary or Secondary (Includes Wrangler kills): Gain 3 seconds of minicrits
+On kill with melee: Gain 5 seconds of minicrits
-All buildings have 25% less HP
-Cannot gain minicrits if you do not have a sentry built

The Treacherous Trapper

Engie's not so subtle way of telling you to get off of his lawn.

Overhauls your buildings to be a lot more defensive.

Shield Generator: Replaces the Sentry. Projects a non-damaging MvM shield for 1,2,3 seconds. After time has expired, the generator deconstructs itself one level (Level one will deconstruct itself by 25%) Shield Generators have a 50% damage vulnerability while constructing.

Barricade: Replaces the Dispenser. A wall that takes 500 damage to destroy. Instantly constructs. Cannot be upgraded. Can be harmed by both enemies and friends, and friends deal TRIPLE damage to the barricade.

Bear Traps: Replace your teleporters. Deploys instantly, and is 50% transparent when first placed. When an enemy steps on it, it loses its transparency, but deals 25 damage per level of the trap and slows opponents for one second per level. On level three, enemies are fully stunned for one second on activation. Bear traps have 25% less HP. (IF PDA, you cannot use bear traps for Eureka Teleporting.)

The Cunning Cheater

It took physical removal of the watch to end his cheating. Death was the most appreciative.

+Cloak Type: Cheat Death. On your death, you instead deploy this immediately and survive with 1 HP. Otherwise appears as a dead ring. You are invulnerable for one second after cloaking.
+No visibility when bumping enemy players
+On Backstab: 50% of your cloak meter is refilled
-Decloaking immediately empties the rest of your cloak meter
-100% slower cloak recharge rate
-Ammo packs are 75% less effective at cloak refill
-Cannot cloak on demand

Spy sold part of his soul to get a kunai. He sold his and his friends' souls to get a cursed dagger.

+Gain a life each time you get a kill with your melee. You start with 4. When you die, you spend one life to fake your death visibly and become invisible for .5 seconds. You cannot attack while invisible. Your false death does not appear in the killfeed. Any damage that would normally kill you while invisible instead reduces your HP to one.
-Crit attacks will consume 2 lives

The Backyard Burner

Crudely made. Fuel intakes need a LOT of work, but you can get a lot of burn out.

+25% damage boost
+Airblasts deal 20 damage to enemies and light them on fire
+Airblasts cost 40% less
-Your flamethrower has a pressure meter that goes down as you fire it. For every 25% of the meter that is missing, the flame thrower deals 30% less damage. Pressure slowly builds as your flamethrower is not being fired.
-Airblasts consume 10% of your pressure meter and cost an extra 15 ammo for every 25% of your pressure meter you are missing

The problem is that it topples every other medigun with ease when ubercharges are not considered. Sure you lose heal power, but increasing the maximum overheal will allow your pocket to have a significant advantage against the enemy.

Compare a pocket with stock to Booster. Assuming 100 directs and healing at a rate of 25 to your 12, your Soldier would survive with your slower heal alongside the 400 HP to tank all the rockets, while the stock would be taken out by the final rocket, or down to critical levels. It just pans out mathematically in your favor as a pocket, as well as supporting healing all teammates with the higher cap and longer decay.

The loss of invuln would be enough of an upside at this point, but having the possability to spread even more overheal to make that soldier 600 HP and tank the enemy Soldier to have 300 HP left! That potential is insane!
Telling me to not consider Ubercharges when talking mediguns is like telling a Soldier main not to consider splash damage when choosing a rocket launcher. It's too integral to the class to outright ignore. I can already see myself pocketing someone with the Vaccinator and winning against a Booster Shot medic and his pocket (if my pocket knows to kill the other med) with a decent amount of success, because I'm going to get a few free Ubercharges during the fight, ignoring any I already have, and can out tank a Booster Shot long enough to pick the other med and whittle down the pocket's HP. Vaccinator Ubers are surprisingly long if you know what to focus on. I've pumped out 10 second and up Ubers before because of the Vaccinator's ability to get uber on damage resistance.
