Hello everyone,

Currently all of my custom classes are live on the Workshop - they all download and run correctly in game when activated.

At this time I am looking for feedback - if anyone would like to test-run my class mods and provide feedback on skills and/or balancing that would be awesome. Right now I am pulling back on class creation - to focus on adding new art files (like promo images for the image file, weapon/armor icons, etc), class balancing, and also helping other modders with their art assets for their new classes that are coming down the pipe.

Here is a list of my class mods that are live and fully functional on the Workshop:

Blackguard
Apothecary
Astronomer
Lord (Lord of Darkness mod)
Lady
Necromancer
Demon Hunter
Court Magus
Viking
Kunoichi
Shinobi
Baron
Maiden
Sorceresss

The only mod I have posted that does not work is the Tutorial_Lord_Mod - as at this time it seems the workshop downloader can't overrite the tutorial scripts.

Also keep in mind that our beta version of the game does not have a file wall - so you can use as many mods and classes that you want.

My future plans include a FF6 class pack (Moogle was the start of this), finishing my Diablo-Styled Class pack (Necro, Demon Hunter, and Sorceress are the start of this), and to do a DD "Townie" mod pack (This will include classes like Sanitarium Nurse, Survivalist, Armorer, etc.). Once the DLC and new features are released I will resume my class creation, hopefully with new assets and effects to play with :)

So yeah - if anyone is willing to playtest my classes feel free to provide me with feedback on skills and balancing.

The classes themselves appear to work fine although I didn't test them fully. The debug does say that there are errors with the Lord missing an aflliction image (Which doesn't make sense since he appears to have it, unless this is a modifies.txt error) and the Court Magus not being assigned Camping skills.

I have started work again IRL, so I do not have nearly as much free time at the moment, but I'll still pitch in as much as I can.

Hey guys,

I just checked the files for the Court Magus - looks like I had forgotten to delete camp/upgrades files from the hard files. I have her re-uploaded there now.

Please unsub and resub to get the update (since the workshop does not seem to be sending out updates you need to unsub/resub to get the missing files).

Modding Question: Weapon and Amour Names.[SOLVED]
Hey guys - quick modding question for anyone who might know the answer. I am starting to add weapon/armor icons to my classes. In following AJ's method to do so through the .info, .art, and localization file - I seem to have everything setup. In game the art for the weapon/armors icons shows up no problem - but unfortunately the names that I have put in the localization file does not seem to show. Any idea what I may be missing?

What i have changed:
-Added Weapon and Armor art for all upgrades (check and works)

-In the .art file changed all weapon/armour names to include class name
ex: weapon: .name "black_mage_weapon_0" .icon "eqp_weapon_0.png"

-In the .info files changed all weapon and armour names to include class name
ex: weapon: .name "black_mage_weapon_0" .atk 0% .dmg 4 8 .crit 4% .spd 6

-In Localization file I have setup all weapon/armour names:

So ultimately - the art works - but the names are not showing up, they are defaulting back to the base names of the Grave Robber in game.

Any thoughts on what I am missing?

EDIT: HAHA Nevermind - turns out I needed to run localization to pick up the new waepon/armour names. Silly scorpio... lol.

Class Mods (Tweaks needed) Minor issues at the moment.
Hey modders and devs - through testing mods and getting my classes setup on the Workshop I have picked up on two issues that may be troublesome for players in the future. I will outline them below:

1. Class Mod Updates: On Friday I updated my Apothecary custom class - with an additional skin. After I re-uploaded the class through the Workshop - I received the update to my steam (steam workshop content update) in approcimately 10 minutes after the upload. That was great. The problem is - Baron and Khallin who are in our beta had previously subbed to the Apothecary - they did not get the update. And after 3 days they still did not get the automatic update to their machines. They had to go in and un-sub then re-sub in order to get the update.

Steam Workshop mods, once updated, should send out an automatic update not long afterwards to anyone who is subbed to said mod. So this will need to be corrected before Workshop release.

2. Game Re-Install results in Workshop mod classes deleting from save files - This is a complicated one that had multiple variables that led to the issue. So bear with me. Last week I broke my game through modding and what not. I did a complete uninstall and deleted all mod folders. I re-installed the game and then re-added my manually installed heroes. I turned on DD, and re-activated the Apothecary class for the save file that was at week 55 with her as a level 5 hero. When I loaded my save file - all manually installed heroes were there, exactly as they were before the uninstall of the game at their appropriate levels - unfortunately the Apothecary was gone as if she was never in the game. So she was lost from the save file. Not sure why or how this happened - or if this is normal for steam mods - so take it with a grain of salt.

I completely understand that these are minor issues right now, just thought they should be mentioned so that they are not missed, especially the 1st one. That's all I got for now! Hope it made sense, lol.
