The line with "this.value" is warped into 2 lines and must actually be one line. But it should work just fine if you copy and paste it as is into greasemonkey or tampermonkey by selecting "Use Script From Clipboard" (or equivalent).

Has that ever worked for you? That never works for me. I always get "no results were found", no matter if the URL is a custom id or not, if I have a trailing slash, preceding scheme or not - it just does not accept Community URLs whatsoever.

That's why when I block, I always block on OP as well as on Steam.

OT: When I try to find those people on OP that added you, I go to "Visit Steam Profile" from the drop-down menu by their name. I then copy-paste the profile URL into the OP "Find a user" search form. Although the input hint says I can enter a profile URL, that never works and I have to manually delete everything but the Steam ID from the URL to search.
I have my own userscript by now doing that for me, but is there any other way of efficiently finding people's OP profile?

Obviously not someone that hasn't been trading with his account for 3 months, has a private backpack, more trades than posts indicating he used outpost just to quickly sell stuff acquired somewhere else but still follows the Outpost forum for no apparent reason.

That's why I would treat you like any other case for now but give you the chance to appeal later after a reasonable amount of time.

Depending on your crime, behavior while on trial and being incarcerated, you either get sentenced to prison with or without the possibility of parole, and with varying amounts of time until you can apply for parole. But you usually do not walk free right away.

sorry that I have to giggle, but I remember predicting this when whitelists and blacklists were discussed months ago.

I would also like to know if, how and by whom the whitelist is being managed and if users have a chance to take influence.

That way you would also not have to make promises, you may not be able to keep, about how his case is going to be handled, in case more evidence comes to light or another admin "overrides" you.

It would also protect the community from those that have no intention of never scamming again in the meantime until they can appeal and show that they really meant what they said.

I agree that there should be some benefit for those that come to terms with their victim and show remorse. But a SR caution and just 2 weeks OP ban instead of a SR scammer tag and OP perma-ban is not it, imo.

If it was me, I would still give you an OP perma-ban and SR scammer tag, but the right to appeal in the future (with a minimum time that a scammer planning to continue would rather make a new account than appeal), as opposed to no right to appeal for repeated offenses and unreasonable scammers.

Let me get this straight: I can scam someone at least once and wait to see if I get reported. If I don't, I have an unusual, if I do, I apologize, return the item and get away with a warning?

After all, his offer of amends came after he got reported.
