The games become an absolute ♥♥♥♥ show over the last few seasons. Skill based match making is a joke, ranked is unplayable, hit registration doesnt work half the time, random disconnects, and these issues have only been getting worse. This used to be one of my favorite games, but I cant even bring myself to log in now.

Dinkum is a very casual and relaxing game, which I really enjoy playing and watching TV. My big problem with the game is, it crashes about once every 30-45 minutes. I'm sure the issue with be resolved eventually, but I cant keep playing and losing progress.

Gave the game a negative review when it came out because of how matchmaking worked, and the overwhelming amount of cheaters. I always said I would come back and give it another shot if the devs added a solo que and addressed the cheater issue.
Well, true to my word, I came back to give it another go after the last update. I gotta say, Im not doing well, but at least I feel like its an even playing field. When I lose a fight, its because I made mistakes, and Im totally fine with that. So far, Im really enjoying the game with the new mechanics.

The game looks and plays very rough for a recent release. The game play might feel better if I could rebind the keys, but the option isn't available. What is available is the ability to invert the X or Y axis, but the setting does nothing when you save it.
Plus, I'm so tired of these Star Dew Valley clones choosing to keep the stamina mechanic. Just let me play the game and enjoy myself, stop putting restrictions on how I want to enjoy my time playing.

I've bought 3 copies of this game for myself over the years and another 4 copies for friends. Titanfall 2 is one of the best FPS games that has come out in the last 20 years. The gun play and movement were such a refreshing break from the Call of Duty and Battlefield titles of the time. Sadly, the multiplayer has been plagued with issues for years by this point, and the developers have shifted everything to maintaining APEX. So if you want to play online, you need to download a 3rd party launcher called Northstar. The single player campaign is still amazing though, and well worth a play through if you've never played it. The current asking price of $30 is a little steep for an older game though, so add it to your wish list and wait till it goes on sale for $10-15.
If the developers take the core of Titanfall, and what they've learned from APEX, Titanfall 3 could be the best shooter on the market.

This is what I wanted from Valheim. V Rising is a game that I can sit down and just relax while playing. The combat is fluid and the enemies you fight give you a sense of progression. You constantly feel like you are getting better as you learn the different weapons, enemy skill rotations, and improve your equipment. I've personally enjoyed the base building and crafting system that has been put in place, but would like to see it improved upon as the game moves forward.

My one complaint right now is, I'd like to see the developers work on enemy skill diversity. I feel like the game has too many enemy types that have ground based AoE attacks. After a point of progression, its way too common to encounter groups of enemies and three of them are setting the entire area on fire.

So I played this game when it first came out and it was a fun little time pit.
Fast forward to today, and the game barely runs on my computer. The game was giving me severe nausea from the poor frame rate, game refusing to run at my monitors native resolution, and jittery camera controls. The game has not received an update in a year now, and Im guessing its been abandoned by the developers.

This Monster hunter title feels wrong. Little to no thought was put into how the controls would work when switched to mouse and keyboard. The games movement and combat both feel clunky and awkward. I played through MHW without too many issues and I cant figure out how the two titles feel so completely different.
The heavy Japanese aesthetic also feels out of place when compared to previous installments in the franchise. I could honestly overlook the odd visual style if the game was fun and felt rewarding to play.
Im in the process of getting a refund and wont be bothering to try Rise again later. If I get the itch to play Monster Hunter in the future, I will just redownload MHW.

Best game of the year. If the team adds the option to invert controls, Im going to be playing this a lot.

Gave the game a horrible review about a year ago, but I heard that the devs had been working on it and thought I'd give it another shot.

No clue what the current state of the game is, since mine crashes about every 30-60 seconds. Spent the last hour troubleshooting to see if its on my end, but it appears to be some strange issue with the game itself.
