Genre defining, this is to FPS games as Pizza Tower is to platformers.

In a way World of Goo 2 is effectively World of Goo 1 but with new levels and way more polish which I feel like is what we all wanted. I think the only thing is that Chapter 4 can feel very jarring because it's a massive shift in gameplay. The Black Stains stages especially, they aren't even physics based. That being said I appreciate the commitment to the bit.

I think Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 onwards is possibly the gold standard for what AAA games should be. Maybe I'm wrong in saying that but there's so much to do, the writing is good, the character building is good, the combat is good, etc etc.

So, I saw that the recent reviews were mixed and felt like writing this.
Rivals of Aether II is a good game in my opinion. However I will concede that it does not feel like a full release. If your game doesn't have complete tutorials I think that's grounds to consider it early access.
Games can absolutely have a full release and keep adding stuff to it, take The Binding of Isaac or No Man's Sky after V1.5 which was effectively the true full release in my opinion. They kinda got forced to release it early.

I decided to play this after the whole debacle around Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour being 10 USD rather than free. ...In the middle of the night on a Monday. I don't know what I'm doing with my life.
Anyways this was a lot more fun then it sounded on paper. I guess it's just that Valve magic/humor that really elevates it. I absolutely recommend checking it out if you have a Steam Deck, even if you already know how it works.

I love the levels in AntonBlast. It feels like Tony gathered a group of people told them all to make platformer levels, and then left.
Some person who really liked the backrooms then decides to make a non euclidean bath house and then some other person ignores all instructions and makes a pinball machine.

Didn't personally enjoy it. I felt like there just wasn't enough tutorials and overall I prefer City Game Studio or good ol Game Dev Tycoon.

Very good! I love the colony managment to the point where most of my playtime was the colony managment. Whoops!

Ara: History Untold is good...but not my kinda game. I'm not a micromanagement fan.
I still really like the way the maps look though.
