This was my first strategy game and still stands as my favorite.

This game is truly great, even the smallest side quests contain better characters, choices, and writing than most new triple A games. Looking at the last 10 years it's not hard to see this games influence on the modern gaming landscape. This game will hook you, it took my years of playing the same save every now and then for it all to finally click but when it did it was worth the time. Plus this game goes on sale so often, I think I bought my complete edition for like 10 bucks.

The grind is really long, the story pretty good, and the combat varied enough to keep you playing for awhile, but close quarters pvp is rare and the AI is pretty dumb most of the time, I'm confident that the devs will fix all the issues and in turn create something really cool. The visuals are amazing, from the sand moving around everything, to the way the sun lights the sand and mountains, it's all great. Overall if you don't like grind and don't have anyone to play with I'd pass, but if you don't mind spending allot of time and you have some buddies to play with, then go ahead and hop on.

Early Access Review
In a world where the true immersive sim was basically drug out back and shot in the head, this game shines as proof that the genre isn't completely dead yet. Please buy this game so they make more like it and I can play them, thanks.

Other than the UI, performance, and steam cloud saves not working, this game is great, once those things are fixed it'll be perfect

Quickly becoming one of my favorite multiplayer games, I hope more people buy it so I can scam you with a 60% cut of your income because I'm the only banker because I had all the other bankers killed.

KCD was one of my favorite RPGs and it's squeal surpasses it in nearly every way.
Performance was good with only minor drops in the cities and a few story specific scenes, which is impressive considering how beautiful the game is. Although the character animations are quite rigid, it doesn't detract from the gorgeous scenery.
I did run into a few bugs here and there, for example an audio glitch that made all dialogue sound echoed, NPCs walking through walls and each other, and quest markers not disappearing when the quest is completed.
It took me 120 hours to complete the game from start to finish, that's including time spent on side-quest of which I only did maybe a dozen. Once hardcore is added I'll be going back to do anything I haven't done.
My favorite thing about this game is how the many systems account for so many varriables, (for example you might get a mission to remove a bandit camp from an area, you could go about doing so by sneaking in and killing them in their sleep, or just rush in and take them all on, or try talking to them, or have your dog kill them, basicaly any way you can think of).
Looking forward to the potential KCD3, fingers crossed, Audentes Fortuna iuvat!

I can't recommend this game anymore with the recent changes, what was once a gritty, cold, and interesting world with serviceable combat is now a much more watered down experience, truly depressing to see this, unless the changes are reverted (which I really doubt), I don't really see much reason to play this game over any other tactical shooter. Save your money on this one.

Silent Hill 2 is one of my favorite games ever made if not my absolute favorite, so I was really sceptical about a remake and had very low expectations. This completely blew me away, they managed to refresh an already great experience and keep it true to it's roots. If you haven't ever played silent Hill, this is the definitive way to experience the game, so glad to see they were able to implement mechanics that had to be scrapped due to limitations of the PS2. Overall this is a love letter to a masterpiece, truly a work of art. My only gripe is a few frame rate issues I've had in certain areas, but that's probably just due to my aging PC.
10/10 PLS make more SH remakes Bloober, you're really good at it.
