Edit for version 1.0+: When i first started playing this game i had no idea it would become this amazing and polished. My friend and I who i picked this game up for, both have 100% the game and still play frequently. The new Spiritual Assault mode is amazing and im so excited for future DLC's. The DLC is absolutely worth it as well. Amazing game i have put 150+ hours into.

Game reminds me of Deep Rock Galactics wave shooting and Borderlands weapon style drops. I picked this up for my roommate and myself, since then we have put 10+ hours into it. Its still in alpha, but incredibly polished gunplay wise. The progression and way the games play out is astoundingly fun.

I cannot wait to see where this game goes!

I played 18 hours in in 36 hours. That should tell you how amazing this game is. Get the Deluxiest edition, its simple an amazing game if you like turn based RPG's. (No Tactics)

Glad bethesda got their head out of their collective anus. Now with the spyware removed, I can fully review this game in a tl;dr.

Best DOOM game since the original in my opinion. One of the few games that truly make you feel like a god.

Seriously, now that spyware is in hell where it belongs, buy this game ASAP. The multiplayer is alright, but honestly who cares, the singleplayer is where the meat and perderders are at.

K so. Game has some bugs.

1. Higher resolution than potato causes texture bugs. Primarily with shadows
2. Clipping is horrendous. Walls/Floors clip together and flash like mad
3. If you open the steam overlay in game it will earrape you with the sound of 1000 angry wasps stuck in a metal trashcan for a second.

Skip for now.

Color me shocked when i saw this on steam. I remember playing this in school for hours on end with my classmates.

Not gonna lie. I planned on never buying this game. Then I saw the Internet Historian video on it and it changed my mind completely. I recommend watching that video then taking a new look at No Mans Sky.

I legit thought Hello Games and Sean Murray were scam artists, and just lying their ass off to screw us out of $60. I was VERY much in the wrong. This game is absolutely amazing now. I havent had a sense of wonder in a game for a very long time.

I cannot recommend this title enough. Its so much fun to play in co-op and the story is stellar. No pun intended.

10/10. I should have given the Labor of Love nomination to Hello Games/No Mans Sky. Its very clear how much they have slaved to make this game what it is.

Buy it, play it, and enjoy it. Seriously.

Awesome rogue-like that has amazing dialogue, suburb animations, solid core gameplay mechanics, and addicting overall package.

Cannot recommend this game enough! Also, Cerberus is a good boy. Pet him lots.

Had to come back and edit my review after beating the main story for the first time.

Pro:
- Beautiful Artwork
- Stellar Gameplay
- Very addicting gameplay
- Very Polished
- No bugs in my entire playthrough
- Music fit the scene
- Addicting gameplay that harkens back to Diablo while maintaining its own style.
- Support for 144hz monitors. (Dont own a 240 so no idea if its supported
- Flexiscope is friggin amazing. (Gives you a rough estimate on how long it will take to complete a level based on how you play.

Cons:
- If your monitor/TV/Viewing apparatus has a resolution over 1920x1200, some things can look a bit stretched.

Overall:
- I played through the entire game once from start to finish and I have to say, this game is addicting and extremely fun. Went through the first round with the Warrior, next will be my mage. Cannot rate this game highly enough. Seriously a hidden gem. I dont know why more people arent talking about this. My friend got a coupon for it and thats how we learned of it. Never once was this recommended to us on steam or did we see it anywhere.

This games a hit. Give it a shot. 10/10

Randomly heard about this game from a YouTuber. I decided to check it out and have immense amounts of fun. Its easy to pick up, addicting, and a great co-op experience. I truly hope this game gets expanded even more, cause i see myself and my friends playing this for years.

10/10 will play again, probably after finishing this review.

Quarantine 2020 Edit:

40 hours in over a few months of playing with my roomie and I have to say, absolutely one of the best Co-Ops ive ever played. Im extremely excited to try 1.0 in all its glory!

Edit 2: 2022 edition. yeah. game is still amazing. Still recommended.
