This is better than I had hoped.

11/10, GGG outdid themselves once more

I struggle writing a long review, so let's just keep it short:

I met this game and its devs at Gamescom 2023 and it immediately caught my eye. Particularly the promise of "Bullethell" and "Rogue-Lite" lured me in like a starving fish chasing a hooked worm. And boy do I not regret biting down on this bait and following it all the way until today.

The game is about robots and their different emotions. Each emotion is represented by a certain kind of ability and starter weapon. And that's really all there is to know for now. The bullethell feeling is good. Bosses and encounters in general vary in difficulty but, especially now, I rarely find the game to be "too easy" or "not fulfilling". The bullethell quickly starts increasing in severity as you move through levels, and encounters become more challenging, particularly in small rooms.

There are multitudes of weapons to buy and unlock, and tons of addins to keep each run interesting. There are many viable builds and it's really just fun trying out different weapons and builds, and discovering synergies or unexpected interactions.

I highly recommend the game to anyone who feels equally excited about hearing words like "Bullethell" and "Rogue-Lite", and I'm very much looking forward to future updates.

The game seems fun but has bugs that make it hell / borderline impossible to play for me unfortunately.

Honestly yeah the Armours are pretty and all blablabla I really just bought this because I want to support the devs lol. Not gonna sugarcoat it I don't even care what's in this DLC I just wanted to show my appreciation

Everything I ever dreamed of in a RPG

Extremely fun game. Great variety in characters and creative guns. Huge build variety, with pretty much almost anything being "viable" at lower difficulties, which makes it easy to tailor the game to the experience you want. Regular updates are great and keep on piling up, in the past couple months this game has already grown alot and become much better, I am much looking forward to even more updates.
