I honestly think this is the best game I have ever played.

If the metacrit score of 83, the fact that 91% of all reviews ever made are positive and my almost 400 hours do not convince you to buy this game, I honestly do not know what will.

Ah yes. I remember first seeing this game and having those high hopes. Y'know, it being early access and all. I bought the game, but at the time, even though I much enjoyed it, it still failed to properly draw me in. It was a diamond in the rough, unpolished and dirty. So I set it aside for a while and hoped for the best.

AND MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED!

I came back many months later, and BAM! It was like a whole new experience! Smoother graphics and animations, tons of QoL improvements, more cards and especially more diversity (way back playing different classes just didn't quite have that unique "class-feel" to it). Overall this whole game has made a HUGE jump from where it was not even that long ago and I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who is interested in these kinds of adventures to give Slay the Spire the chance it deserves.

All these people bashing the game for shtity framerates, well, I ain't gettin none of that. I play with an i5-4460 (look at this games minimum recommended specs you will find it there) and a 1070 on 16GB RAM and, after tweaking my graphics settings ONCE, was able to achieve stable 60 fps on 2K resolution (4K screen, I could play it on max res with 60 fps but I'd have to make the game look ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol)

So yeah, I really don't get all that upsetness.

What I DO understand is that Capcom is doing an epic money grab here with their DLC + Preorder combo.

I don't know what, but it did something inside me.

It's one of those games like RotMG or Fiesta Online, which start out just great as they are. And you're like ''there's no way they could screw this up.'' and then they add microtransactions, which is fine, then they turn the game into a ''got money? Have everything'' concept where u can buy anything and in the end you're really just wondering how they managed to ♥♥♥♥ up this great game. Same with Robocraft. When it came out I seriously thought this would replace all of my other games for me. Well... it didn't. While I have to be truthful about the fact that I havent played for months, in all honesty, I'm glad. I remember Robocraft as one heck of a ride with awesomeness packed into every match. But what I hear from pretty much everyone I know that still plays this game, all I think is ''Don't even wanna know.'' Robocraft, u were awesome and in my memories you will remain so.

I got the hang of it eventually ^^

10/10 would try again (actually will)
