So far in, aside the few stuttering issues here and there, this game has proven to be the greatest RPG I have ever played in my entire life. No other game can surpass the experience I have had so far, and I haven't even slain Godrick yet. The wonderful beauty of this game is how delinearised it is from the other entries in From Soft's catalogue. I can literally just turn around and walk into the opposite direction of where the story wants me to go, and there is no punishment, no holding the player up, no barriers to be triggered, no "alternate paths but actually it's only a large circle and takes you back or there is a door that only opens after X event happened". Just a huge world I can be free to roam about. This game is the pinnacle of modern day RPG experience.

As far as the performance issues go, while the worst I myself suffered was a singular crash, I only get some stuttering now and then which can be bothersome, but rarely so. Most of the times its just for a second and fades immediateley. I must note that I explicitly updated my drivers prior to Elden Ring's release, which likely caused my lack of issues. NVidia released a driver 2 or 3 days before launch which added "support for Elden Ring", so my personal theory is that alot of people simply neglected updating their drivers. This is supported by the appearance of AMD users having more and more severe issues. Hoping that From Soft will fix these problems soon so that everyone can enjoy the game together. For those curious, here is my setup:
Intel i5-8600K CPU, RTX 3070Ti GPU, 16GB RAM, Windows 10

This is one of my absolute all-time-favourites, it is a near perfect entry to the Action RPG genre and might as well be called a masterpiece, because it is. Beautiful and perfect, that is what this game is.

Probably one of the most well-optimized and good looking games I have ever played. Few games manage to both provide such a highly detailed, immersive experience while also offering great performance. Not sure what the people who whine about poor optimization are on about. Either their PC's are potatoes or they think Shaders Pre-Loading is an affront to their very existence. I wish Dark Souls 3 looked and ran as well as this game does.

An excellent game, quite enjoyable. Really only fun with friends though, unless you enjoy playing this against random people.

This game is alright. It is a very bad Need for Speed game. If it wasn't for the fact this SHOULD be yet another addition to an iconic line of racing games, I could recommend this with a thumbs up, but it is not, and I can not give a positive review.

Pros:
+ Customization is very nice
+ Plenty of cars
+ Wonderful Graphics and (surprisingly) few performance issues or major bugs in general
+ Car part upgrading system is interesting and kinda nice
+ The general feel of the game is great, but...

In-Between:
~ Music is nice but not everyone's taste, a bit short of a playlist too

Cons:
- No custom music (The usual suggestion is mute music ingame and use Spotify)
- The story is so mind-wrenchingly bad I cannot fathom ANYONE except the person who wrote the script and the voice actors themselves actually read it. Holy ♥♥♥♥. This is awful. Not just for a Need for Speed game. This is just bad. I cannot believe I am actually typing this, but even ELEX' writing was more enjoyable to torture myself with.
- Cop chases are kinda bland, cops literally ignore you during the day unless you wreck another cop car and...
- the map, while well made in general, is simply too small
- Race diversity is bad
- Story advancement is poorly paced relative to the players progression
- Did I mention how bad and too short the story is?
- Clearing side objectives on the map feels, aside from some exceptions, bland, boring and lacking in inspiration
- The only real antagonist in this game is the police, there are no rival drivers, no out of town gangs invading territory, no "earn enough rep to unlock this bossbattle", no magazine covers, nothing to drive toward except the end of this awful story

Basically, summed up, this is a very pretty game with good driving feel but overall a too simple and empty game that totally just makes you think "god bless the story is over and I can stop playing this". If this had been some sort of "Miami Cruise: Speed Pursuit AA Indie Game" I would totally give a thumbs up like "Hey this was nice, hopefully the next one will have more substance" but this is a AAA game made in a series iconic to the racing genre, what a disgrace

After a rough start, through the love and dedication of its developers, this game has risen from the ashes and now lights the night sky like a star in the sea of Top Tier video games. If you enjoy sandbox, exploration and, like me, enjoy whacky, unconventional plots and game design, this game should be the next on your wishlist.

I wholeheartedly want to recommend this game, it is good no questions asked, but the fact that I keep pressing buttons and the game not responding is indescribably frustrating. I've had this issue since purchasing the game, and it has not been fixed yet. I continue to encounter plenty of situations where input is simply ignored, randomly. It happens a painful lot for dashes, which makes some fights just ridiculously harder because I know I cannot rely on my dodges to actually dodge. It has happened more than once that this failure to recognize input cost me a bossbattle, and it is very frustrating when you use your Yokai Shift for a fight only to lose it because the game did not recognize me pressing a button as valid input, thus getting killed. Now I am here with no yokai shift.

The only bad thing there is to say about this game is that it is too short. It would have been nice to have more missions overall, but that is okay because the story is amazing nonetheless, the game is beautiful and perfect as is.
