I don't actually think of this game in a negative light, but in the middle. Like many others, there should be a "neutral" option for steam.

I think if the right modders came to the game, the game could last a lot longer. That and the fact that the modders discontinue their mods after a certain time.

As it stands, Game Dev Tycoon is monotonous and repetitive after just a little while. Once you have accomplished a formula, you are able to recycle games over and over.

The reason as to why I am leaning towards negative, is because reviews are inconsistent. If you produce a title that gets a 10, the next one you do with the same genre and settings will either get a higher or lower score. You can argue that this allows variablitity, so the game does not become stale, but at this point you would have all the hints (or the completion something specific) and then the repetition begins.

Also, the unlocks happen way too late. I recommend the mod "Advanced Start without topics".

I say there are better games than this, but this type of management aspect is for you, then I recommend you purchase it, with fair warning.

+ Most people above and below me don't have that many hours in the game.

No one has mentioned that the personality you choose now reflects in voice comms!

Other than that, great game actually. I recommend playing non-ironman, but don't save too often, just the start of a mission. The reason being, a bug could break the game (like not being able to pick up an item). It's a much better experience this way!

About 80% of the negative reviews are about the company, so if you don't want to buy the game because of their practices cool. However, as far as the GAME goes, it's pretty good.

It is a fair assessment that the game is a grind-fest and that it takes too long to get to each captain (if you are seeking them out). So I would contend that it is not worth the full price, coupled with the fact the graphics look worse somehow; minus the pre-rendered cutscenes.

That said the game is half off. I would say that is a good price for the game as it stands. There is a lot to do to keep yourself occupied for awhile, I have beaten the game and there is still a lot of post-game things I am able to do. The interactions between the Uruk has vastly been improved since their last Middle Earth game and you can now create your own army of those cretin.

Although my review is vague in terms of progression and storytelling, I can say it's worth the price RIGHT NOW. When it goes back up to full price, you missed an opportunity.

Wanna know just how much attention to detail went into the game?

Press ALT + TAB to switch to your desktop

The music fades out. Name a game where they have a fade out feature when you ALT + TAB.

I feel like I'll never have the opportunity to brag about this for the rest of my life, because no one cares but, I was actually #1 on Spartacus Legends for a long time.

Anyways, back to the game. It's rare to see a polished gladiator game. I really like gladiator games, and I would spend countless hours searching the internet for ANYTHING related to gladiatorial games. So when Domina was announced I bought it before many reviews were around for it, and I have to say, it has come a LONG way from where it started, with constant updates that make it great.

Everything is top notch, aside from customization which is more tailored to a linear type. It does challenge you, and you will probably find a gladiator that you like and will accidentally hit ALT+F4 when they die. But hey, the micro-management is here, the pit fights are badass. However, what really makes this game for me is the soundtrack. It totally sets the stage perfectly, and I often find myself screaming obscenities for no reason as my gladiator executes the other.

EDIT: This review is purely WOTC DLC only, so I've decided to change my review to positive. The problems I've experienced have been either removed or toned down. Thanks.

Why the hell would you let the "ruler" move every time you made an action?

Thanks, but no thanks.

CS:GO Review
CS: GO. This game is far from perfection. In fact, it's a whole lot of nothing.

Let me paint a picture for you. So you have these things called "ranks". These ranks, are essential as they compliment you skill group. However, awhile back they scrapped their formal ranking system and now we are stuck with what we have.

What do we have, you might ask? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That's what we have. Let's say I were to play for three hundred hours, excelling my rank. Let's say I do average, coming in the center of the team I would play with. And let's say I even manage to win 60% of those games. Well, tough luck. Kiss your three hundred hours of your life goodbye as you are back at square one. This even applies to lower ranks as well.

At this point, recommending the game as it is would be unremarkably stupid. I've only stated what bothers me, but there are much, much more.

The Smurfs (Players who lower their rank to play with all the minor ranks),

The AFK person who leaves when you need them most.

The Russian, or anyone who speaks in a foreign language, simply because the server matchmaking is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The one guy who will leave the match and would usually result in your loss.

And we can't forget the toxic community itself, who won't listen when you try to direct someone in a strategic mannerism. To help ensure your victory. However they say: "♥♥♥♥ off", and do their own thing.

And don't remind me of Valve. The lack of respect for their own game is what had people leaving in boatloads. People don't like paintball guns, they like the original sounds for most (or all) of the weapons.

This game needs some direction.
