This game.

Easy one of my favoite games, To the choices, to the comedic effect. This game has it all. This is the only game that has ever interested me with key mashing action, with quick timer events included. The choices you make branch out and develop both characters you control, Rhys and Fiona.

Rhys: Rhy's has a score to settle with Vasquez, with the help of his friend Vaugn and Yvette, He was the new leader of hyperion after Hendrison was killed. To settle the score he decided to intercept obtaining a vault key, which would be used open a vault, which Hyperion yearned for the most. However things twisted and turned and he was stuck with two others, who he barely knew. However, Handsome Jack's "ghost" was uploaded into his brain, and he debates on telling the others after they get to know each other for a bit, and are still unsure of how they feel (unless you pick all the bad consequence choices). That's about all you can build on from his base personality.

Fiona: Her and her sister, Sasha, were con-artists. They forged this path because they grew up on the savage planet known as Pandora, and were looked after buy a man named Felix. Felix was more so like a father to the three, and devised a genius plan to create a fake vault key and phone Hyperion about it. However, they encountered two others after the deal went sour and made unlikely realations with one another. That's about all you can build on from her base personality.

This game features a alien invaded world. Of couse that sounds like the common typical "alien invasion. End of days." Stop right there. You are wrong. The game itself features a very tactical strategy landscaped game. It comes with 4 difficulties; Easy, Normal, Classic, Impossible. You can also tweak the settings to use other features, such as "Ironman Mode" Which means you play on one continued save. No loading back. As far as the actual gameplay goes, you've got yourself a strategic plament game, sort of like chess. You have to move your troops into the rigth position, every decision you make could very well be your last, and also a game over. You have to upgrade your equipment well enough to fend off the aliens that threaten your race, by researching or crafting weapons and armor to do just that. But of course once you feel strong enough to handle a few minor aliens, that's when the aliens step up their game and throw in some other aliens that could ruin your day, or take out your whole squad with a single blow to each individual member. The very thought of one of your members being gunned and shot down basically has you sitting on the edge of your seat, desperatley hoping that your troop would be able to survive. And if there is no hope you could always flee. But the adventure doesn't even end there. It starts with you. Get this game. 10/10
