Really blown away by this one. I went in half expecting a pretentious walking simulator, or a slightly interactive movie with annoying quick time events. This is a stealth game first and foremost with some extremely unique combat and environmental mechanics that are drip fed throughout the length of the campaign to keep things fresh. The graphics and art direction are stellar and are accompanied by a well written and voice acted story. If you can withstand the presence of Fr*nch "people" for 15 hours, then this is a must buy. 9/10

I really wanted to like it...Its just so aggressively mediocre. The concept is interesting but the characters are so boring and the gameplay is not good enough to make up for it.

The Baldurs Gate 3 we have at home.


If you are new to tabletop/turn based RPGs, play on explorer difficulty. Classic can be very frustrating unless you already know what you are doing.

They took the extremely fun and stellar gameplay loop from prototype 1 and refined the controls and drastically improved the graphics. An absolute must play...If you can get it to run.

I never played this as a kid, but I wish I had. Its like they took all the best elements from Just Cause 2, The Spiderman games, and a spectacle fighter like Devil May Cry and combined them into one extremely gory and destruction filled super game. I can't think of another game where you can straight up drop kick a helicopter out of the sky.

The downside is that while this is one of the most fun games I've ever played, it comes in one of the worst ports I've ever seen. You need a patch for:

1. Avoid a crash with more than 4 cores
2. Increase resolution above 720p
3. Avoid massive frame drops from an overpolling glitch

Even with all that it may not work, but I promise you it is absolutely worth trying to because the game itself is extremely fun. Look at the steam guides for help.

Turn physX to low and turn on exclusive full screen or else it will stutter and run poorly.

Its completely free and the quality and fun factor are very high, but the learning curve is one of the steepest I've ever seen. I never thought I'd play a game where I actively wanted less content.
