For me personally it feels somewhat like a downgrade from BL2, the gameplay itself is very much improved, all the guns feel nicer and the new manufacturer traits are all fun, but the story is abysmal, the UI is probably the worst I've seen with all the menus being pretty ♥♥♥♥ and annoying to navigate for the most part, and I personally feel like this is easily the weakest set of Vault Hunters so far. I also feel like the legendaries are fairly weak and way WAY too common, they don't feel special at all anymore

It's still very good if you want to play something shooty with a friend, but I would definitely suggest to wait until at least some kind of a sale

A really fun and good game for people that like to optimize gear and builds, do some small time grinding and fighting some good, intense bosses

A truly amazing game that finally offers some proper fast and brutal gameplay I've been craving for ages. A step-up from the already great Doom 2016 game in every single way. There's so much metal in this game that you could make Mars seem small in comparison

First playthrough being at around 14 hours with some digging for secrets is fairly fine by itself but there's some good replay value with unlockable cheat codes for levels you've beaten already, and for me personally the gameplay alone is going to give me many many playthroughs

The game is so fast it's almost ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I've pushed the dash button more than I did Mouse 1. And with some good Runes you can become extremely fast
Speaking of which, in Doom 2016 I felt like Glory Kills were too slow and it was necessary to get the faster glory kills rune. Not a problem in this one, they're already fast enough. And I was worried they wouldn't be brutal enough, not the case at all. They're all around amazing

The gameplay dance with Doomguy's abilities is amazingly fun. No other game has ever actually had me use all the possible gadgets in every single fight. The grenade launcher, the ice grenade, flamethrower, all of them. And all of them are very useful and somewhat necessary, since the game is much much harder than Doom 2016, which I only see as an absolute upside. I dropped to so low health so many times but managed to climb back up from there with some careful moves and gadget launches

My only real personal complaints would probably be the Gladiator boss being pretty boring and that I feel like the secret encounters should refill at least some of your ammo. One time I felt like I had to completely abandon a Secret Encounter just because it drank all my ammo and I was left with nothing. But that's really a nitpick that doesn't go against the overall experience at all

TL;DR: 10/10. Goes into my top 3 favorite games ever by far. It's finally a game fast, brutal and metal enough for me

It's the only(?) game where I can rip someone's head clean off with my bare hands. Badass

It's a great DLC with some fantastic new weapon unlocks and a really fun, although only one, new map. Beastmen are an amazingly good addition that bring variety into the enemy rosters. I have zero clue why people keep saying they are damage sponges since they're not any the tougher than any other enemies, they only get strong under a banner which you can easily destroy and which are only applied by special enemies that you can even kill before they plant it.

The new gamemode separated from the main game is kinda fun although not super interesting either. It's fine. I don't understand why people would want the weapons from it to carry over to the main game as they are clearly balanced for that gamemode and not the main game. It'd be dumb imo. Though I would like to get their looks as illusions maybe

I think my only issue is that the new boss Minotaur is ass to fight against alone. Doesn't really give you a pause to attack it from having to block a barrage of attacks. If your team is busy with hordes or anything else you might have a really annoying time as you can't really do seemingly anything. Correct me if I'm just being a scrub

This is the second time I manage to finish a gay dating sim ending up all alone

Game's good with a lot of impactful choices but this ♥♥♥♥ reminds me of life too much

This game gave me a proper workout, getting me all sweaty and tired, but then my efforts are finally rewarded and I received the greatest unlock in videogame history: Sylvester Stallone

I have absolutely zero issues with paying a couple of coins worth of money to get official frame data shown for me so I can keep improving my knowledge in such a handy manner

It's truly the Postal 2: 2: The Postalning we all wanted, needed and probably deserved

Feels like a good modern day RollerCoaster Tycoon. The DLC marketing feels douchy though
