This is a complete reskin of the Arbalest class but please don't mind the negative reviews; THIS DLC WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BACKERS-EXCLUSIVES ONLY. It's never meant to be a full DLC, it's meant to be an extra reward for those who supported this game during it's kickstarter phase.

As a token of goodwill, the devs polished this DLC, added their own trinket, barks, and gave it away to everyone. Those who gave this DLC a negative review are either misinformed or pricks.

When the DLC first launched most people complained about DLC being too difficult and poorly balanced - with the release of the Color of Madness balance patch I can safely say that this issue is properly handled.

Props to the Red Hook team; there's a really fine line between a game being impossibly difficult while still being enjoyable and a game being straightforward ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you over, and they fine-tuned the difficulty to perfection. They know that there are people who enjoys self-flagellation a bit too much and the only way for them to get off is by doing them rough.

A linear, tactical RPG with a story to die for. A definite pick-up for gamers who enjoy the game for stories and role-playing.

It's like you're a drug addict playing chess with giant mechs and murder insects as your pieces, and whenever you manage to solve a puzzle that seemed to be unsalvageable at first the game rewards you with your fix.

Remember that one round when the RNG gods were kind and you got really lucky?

Yeah, me neither.

Alright boys, just one more run before I go to bed, this will be THE run I can feel it. Wait is that the sun?

Being a bodysuit fan I give this game a 11/10.

You know it's a great game when it's still good almost ten years later.

You know a game is badly designed when it punishes a certain way of playing instead of rewarding the intended playstyle. The Last Remnant punishes power-leveling and grinding by making it harder to level up your heroes. The most efficient way to play the game is, I kid you not, actually breeze through the story until you've gathered all the available characters and killing roaches over and over again.

Not fun.

While the base game is worthy of praise, this DLC is just a bunch of lazy, half-assed additional scenarios which added basically nothing of value. Out of the new Fates, there are probably only 2-3 good ones with scenarios that actually have stories and actual gameplay change.
