Cool, funny little gem. Ideal for making these Lost Ark server queues to pass much faster.

Warcrimes. Cannibals. Hats made of people. Tons of mods. Rimworld has it all.

Want to build a carebear happy colony? You can do it (and watch it burn when Randy throws some curveballs your way). Want to have a tribe of homicidal maniacs? Possible too. This games has a rather steep learning curve but it's really worth your time.

Also the devs aren't greedy, dlc-spewing and player-monetizing monsters which is a rarity nowadays.

Do yourself a solid, kiss your free time goodbaye and get this game.

I can't believe I waited this long to play this. Love the story, main characters, feel of the game, combat system. There's a ton to do here.

To start: this game is flawed, imperfect. But I have more fun with this than with many AAA products. It's sufficient to say that I spent over 30 hrs in the demo and plan to spend many more in the full version.

For demo players: everything transferred to the full game without a hitch, I even got a ton of achievements for my farming :)

The difficulty system in Outriders reminds the one you can find in Diablo 3 but is better at the same time - you can change it without ending game session or swapping maps and on top of that it yields rewards when unlocking next tiers.

New maps are colorful, bigger and interesting. The crafting system is awesome and makes the tweaking of equipment a breeze. Ability to reset the character build at any time, place and without cost enables flexible gameplay. Bosses I saw so far are fun and engaging, I also had a real sense of accomplishment (heh) after downing one for the first time.

Co-op in the demo was a ton of fun, I plan to play it this way a lot.

It isn't without problems - there are bugs, some disconnects but those can be patched out. People complain of microstutters - I never had that but it's fairly common complaint.

Mechanics-wise - passive trees are comprised of minuscule changes (+10% here or there, etc) which might be boring but it makes a difference when you tweak the build to relevant opponents.

This game is a complete products. No season passes, no roadmap, no doling out content for additional money. A rare sight these days in places other than indie scene. Honestly I hope this sells well and they'll make expansion packs.

Overall - a strong "BUY" from me if you like the genre, though it may be really worth to wait a bit and look fo -30% off promo.

So far, so good. It's really enjoyable, beautiful game with a big tech tree, engaging gameplay, interesting technologies to build.

Building in 3D on a surface of a sphere and later on in space allows for a different perspective and problem solving. You start small and scale to planet- or star- spanning structures. Learn from your mistakes but don't be blocked by them.

For me this game merges the best of two worlds (factorio and satisfactory) and is surprisingly good for an early access title. I'll probably sink a lot of hours into this and hope the developers will add many nice features!

I bought this game way back when everybody shat on it and Hello Games were universally reviled for not keeping their promises. I thought - it's on sale, for this price I can have some fun and not be salty due to missing features. A few years later and we have a game that should be titled "How To Make A Live Service Game: The Story Of Redemption".

This title is often updated, new features are being constantly added and it's just getting better and better. On top of that it's moddable, has absolutely no monetization and you can choose if you want to play online or offline.

A good game to relax after a long day at work.

A wonderful journey, especially for Asimov's fans. The music helps with building the mood of travelling through a desolate, ruined universe, where you can see how far the humanity has fallen during short time that has passed since the event which caused everything.

The graphics which is a mix of pixel art and 3D-pixellated models really brings the universe to life. I also loved the ship models - they feel real, like something taken out of Expanse rather than sleek high-sf models. Random-generated events are multiple and while there could be more it'll be some time until they start repeating.

Real-time combat with active pause is something I love for such games, I'd prefer more time to explore sectors but there's a FTL-like mechanic of pursuit which prevents this. Still, whithout that the game could get too drawn out or easy.

While this game won't replace FTL if you're a fan it can be a really good time anyway. Definitely worth your time, especially on sale.

A note - don't look at my playtime here. I've finished the game already on Game Pass but when I could get it in my library from Humble Monthly I didn't hesitate. Guess that itself may be a recommendation but let's get to the review.

Well, why do I like it?
Cel-shaded graphics. Snarkiness. Abundant bureaucracy (luckily only virtual!). Lots and lots of shooting. Or sneaking. A bit of crafting. Nicely increasing difficulty curve (you decide how fast you want to descend to various depths of the Sargasso Nebula). Soundtrack really fitting the game and all that goes on there. I never turned it off despite spending quite some time with the game.

This is a nice take on a roguelite genre - enemies are varied, procedurally-generated ships work really fine, the story is funny. Characters are random - if you die you get another poor sod who gets re-hydrated and has to brave the dangers of freak-filled old ships. They can have positive or negative traits - which can be removed or changed during the play.

As in any good roguelite there's also a bit of crafting and a lot of collecting of various stuff from the ships you visit. You have to scavenge for food and fuel so there's always motivation to explore more than the bare necessity to satisfy main objective.

There are 5 difficulty levels which you can change anytime during the play. Not many video options though (but you can set FOV!).

Overall - if you like roguelites, comic books, sci-fi and shooters do give this game a shot. It's worth it, especially now when it went into Humble Monthly.

There are no microtransactions or any other crap, there's one DLC but it isn't needed at all.

I came across this game by accident. And I stuck with it until I saw all the endings and discovered every option. This is beautifully illustrated tale of Cinderella but not it's not the safe and sanitized Disney version. It explores the story and allows you to see it from many angles. Here not everything is what it appears at a first glance, there are varying paths you can take. All of them have their consequences.

This isn't the only game of this type that MoaCube have released but definitely the best one. I wouldn't buy it for full price (it's not too long and once you see all the endings there's really no reason to play again) but if there's a sale it's a good option.

This is pure Obsidian goodness.

Yes, it has bugs (quite a lot unfortunately).
Yes, it's a bit corny.
Yes, it has a lot of stereotypes straight from all the action movies I love.
It has conspiracies, stupid enemies, stealth, comical villains and pulpy spy feel. And it doesn't feel like I watch a movie but influence the story by what my character says and does.
I've played it when it came out (and bought on Steam to support Obsidian) and didn't put the game down till I've finished the story.

I want a sequel. I wish there were more games like this.
