Takes exactly ten minutes to fall in love with this game. The pacing is excellent, voice acting, visuals, sound, collectibles and nods to "previous" (aka future games from this timeline) are all good. With a 5060 Ti 16GB runs like a charm with "4K" DLSS balanced plus frame generation, everything set to high. Has annoying audiovisual stutter when transitions to cinematics. Gameplay is pretty simple but has tons of heart, Hangar 13 didn't disappoint.

After the patches it does run better and becomes quite compelling. But it is very samey and just retreads the 2023 game. If you enjoyed that one, get this. If not, then it's not something to lose sleep over

Randomly deletes save files and expects you to start all over. No thanks. This is the best Supermassive game to date, but best played on console.

It's not GTA, Watch Dogs, or Cyberpunk 2077, but wishes it was all of them. It certainly isn't Mafia 3 despite the excellent Alex Hernandez. Will stick with it but if you're not invested in this for some reason, then it's quite messy, all over the place, and amateurish. Combat reminds me of Army of Two. The 2008 one. That's not a good thing. Thus, not worth your time and money.

Even as a ten dollar upgrade this isn't worth it. The performance is abominable even on a high end PC, and it's a buggy mess that within one hour of gameplay has already gone into endless loading screen state on two occasions. Avoid. I paid for the upgrade to honor Lance Reddick, but this is a disgrace.

Somewhere up ahead lies your next destination, an intersection of RE2, TLOU2, and The Evil Within 2, and Bloober's best game ever...miss it at your peril.

This is one of the better Far Cry games, hard to believe I know. On Xbox it was great upon launch, trying to play it on Steam is a nightmare. The Ubi launcher does everything it can to make that very hit and miss. Sometimes it starts just fine, sometimes it'll just say "running" and nothing happens. Your mileage may vary, but I recommend staying away.

Significantly better than the 2024 sequel. Mark Strong is amazing in this one. And there's no forced diversity/design by committee/DEI nonsense. Saber may play the "based" role, but they're not. Oh, look at this, your entire squad is a bunch of white guys, just like in the late 1980s OG version of the universe. Not a neat one white, one Asian, one black assignment. The combat is also infinitely better. World War Z is crap, the swarm system is technically impressive, but annoying. This 2011 release nails it. 8/10, while the current one barely ranks 6/10.

Not as good as the first one, but obviously more sophisticated due to the bigger budget. It's a good, moody FPS from a bygone era, and work the hassle. Because you will have some. Contrary to what some clowns would have you believe, we're not in the gilded age of the mid 1990s or even mid 2000s. The whole point of Steam is pay, then press play. To play. You shouldn't have to sprinkle holy water on an INI file or go into command line BS to enjoy a game from 2009, not 1989. For me it was just restarting Steam, and now it works fine. There's no controller support, and some settings don't work. For me it's aim sensitivity. Slider does nothing. YMMV. Overall still a good shooter, but best gotten on sale.
