Tedious walking sim like Layers of Fear that tries to pass itself off as Amnesia The Bunker or something like that. Nothing of the sort. Just getting through the first hour was a chore.

The marketing for this thing makes it seem like Hard Reset. It's not. This is a discount Ghostrunner with cheap production values. Avoid, even if it costs very little.

It's the best of the Harvester games in terms of story, voice acting, and art. But also the most complex, with added combat and platforming that sometimes feel out of place. Therefore also the most frustrating of the bunch, and way too long for its own good. Still, the story alone is worth it, and the trademark mind ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is definitely still intact, so if you liked the previous releases, you'll like this one.

Even with recent additions like dismemberment mode and the fact that it runs very well now, this is still an annoying game. The ungainly combat system remains the same as on launch, save points are sometimes annoyingly placed, forcing a lot of retracing, and overall it's just not fun. There will be times when it'll click for an hour and you'll enjoy it, only for the flawed design to get in the way again. If you're a Dead Space fan you'll appreciate the constant shout outs, but that's not a good reason to spend money.

Very beautiful and clearly well intentioned indie title that wants to be PT and Dishonored at the same time. Lots of puzzles with moon logic tendencies, but the biggest problem is the complete clunkiness of it all, especially if playing with a controller. Interaction prompts often don't work, and puzzles refuse to detect thumbstick movements, so you have to use the mouse anyway. Despite the decent story and truly gorgeous art, this is one of those dime a dozen indie horror/puzzle titles that are always skippable.

Short but pleasant walking sim/narrative with excellent voice acting and choices that do matter. Has some interesting design elements and overall good but repetitive design and visuals. A solid 7/10.

Runs great in 4K ultra settings with DLSS balanced and 120fps. Makes the Xbox Series X version look like it's the Commodore 64 version. This is the definitive iteration of a very good remaster, probably the best example of a remaster that actually does what it says it will do. And doesn't even need Origin or any other launcher to work, just runs like a regular Steam game, finally.

Early Access Review
Only bought it as a statement that this game should have been made ages ago rather than cave in to political pressure.
This garbage they released is an insult to those who fought. It's not even early access. That marine game from 2005 looks and plays better. There's no content and even changing resolutions doesn't work. And as many have said, the price is outrageous. Unless you want to also show your support and/or opposition to the climate of moral panic, then you have no business buying this crap.
