A year and a half of trying to like this game on Xbox and then Steam, no success. It's a shoddy first person shooter with tons of issues but lots of potential. If you have patience for the developers at Avalanche to maybe realize that potential by 2030 if we're all still alive, then go for it, otherwise you're not missing out on anything important. 4/10.

This review is written at a time when shaking hands or hugging might get you accused of manslaughter, hence Florence offers a touching reminder that without each other, all humans are nothing. We may choose different ways to be close to one another, but the overwhelming majority needs to be connected for humanity to survive. Florence is a short interactive tale with lovely graphics and music, and lots of heart. Not perfect, didn't like that Krish's first sushi happened to be only after meeting an Asian-Australian girl, but that's a really petty gripe. 8/10.

After much trying have to say this is a bad game. It's good some positive aspects but ultimately it's aimless, frustrating, filled with moon logic puzzles and trial and error exploration, and simply not worth the time investment. Give it a try if you really want to challenge your patience and like the look of it, but you'll most likely just be wasting your time. 4/10.

Hard pass. Promoted as an out and out combat title but quickly throws in ridiculously pointless walking puzzles where you must avoid liberal scientists who apparently get in your way on purpose. Step on one of them and it's game over. I got this to shoot annoying aliens who oppose human superiority, not wait around five minutes for an NPC to randomly get out of my way. 3/10.

Recommended just barely for great art and a good story, aided by competent voice acting. Otherwise very tepid, not really interesting, and by the number walking sim. A definite 6/10.

This game reminds me of my former friend, Tsao Nee-Mah. He claimed that back in 1992 we had a consensus to make a game basically like this. Of course that was STRAIT out of his imagination, we had no such agreement. Meanwhile, my other friend Du Lihui today recommended Coronavirus Attack to me, and I like it. Sure, it's basic and silly but at least it provides some humor in dire times. And anyone who says this is about COVID19 is completely deluded. It just says coronavirus, there's a lot of those. Also, there's no year, no mention of where the zombies are from, nothing. Dr. Tedros would definitely like this. For the money this is a 9/10, and it's tough, so you'll definitely get your fifty cent's worth.

Big no on the remaster locked to Tencent/Epic. That's a major betrayal. Not that we're missing out on much, the remaster won't do anything the current PC version doesn't already have. Best thing about this game is the highly fap-worthy cellphone girl on the cover image.

This is excellent, if not traditional XCOM. That's fine, for the price it's a steal. Imagine XCOM with some Crackdown and Saints Row vibes. A lot easier than previous XCOMs but not that easy on normal. Great story and dialogue, but yes, the political undertones are pretty out there. Personally don't mind them as the writers appear to be aware of this and the whole chimera/diversity thing is very well handled IMO. If you get triggered by diversity or can't accept aliens as locals then don't get this game. 8/10.

Between the garbage controls and physics and the timed missions, it's more of a chore than a game. While the graphics still look good, it's just not fun. Acceptable if you really want a fussy challenge. 4/10.

Surprisingly high production values for a budget release. Looks and runs good, decent voice acting. Main character sounds a lot like Sam Worthington. Gameplay's a mix of light and not difficult Souls plus DmC. Overall OK but cheesy, has a lot of cutscenes right off the bat. They're skippable, though. 6/10 methinks.
