Worth it for the story and narration by AC Origins' Bayek. However, it is quite short and assumes you'll replay it multiple times.

Right off the bat it's an obvious choice for anyone that enjoyed Surviving Mars. It's perhaps not as far reaching or involved, but seems to have enough challenge as it starts. Also has an interesting plot with good voice acting and some intriguing choices, since you play from a refreshing angle - sort of. Overall looks worthy of a recommendation.

Game let me drop six nukes on Beijing in 30 minutes. That's satisfaction in my book. Highly recommended indeed.

Superb acting and actually meaningful choices compensate for the cringey "lockdown" setting. This is what Wales Interactive should be doing, not stuff like the horrible Maid of Sker. Kudos to all the cast, they're really good. Sorry I don't know who plays Vinny, but he's great. Game also has decent replayability.

Boring, overly talkative action platformer with pretty art and uninspired combat. Nothing much happens, and everyone's so proud of their Indian heritage that they speak English. Very mediocre, even if has its heart in the right place.

Very amateurish effort that still manages to have some atmosphere and playability. Arguably the ugliest "major" release of 2020. Looks like an average 2008 release on Xbox 360. Interface is poor, there's no exit button FFS. But the sound design is good, with a great song right at the beginning. Think Dontnod with graphics from over a decade ago and none of the savvy design. Only for die hard War of the Worlds fans.

EDIT: I know it's easy to criticize other people's work, and that referring to it as "trash" is mean. But that's what this is. You're paying for garbage. It's a bad, clunky, unoptimized Observer clone with ridiculously bad puzzles and mini games. Please don't get this game unless they totally overhaul it. I'll put my money where my mouth is and refrain from petitioning for a refund.

Complete and utter trash. Nonsensical puzzles, poor graphics with tearing that doesn't go away even with G-Sync AND in-game v-sync, subtitles that can't be disabled...amateur hour in other words. 3/10.

Supposedly has an adult story mode but makes it very hard to figure out how access that. The base game is 10-20 minutes long. Good match 3, which is about as easy to get right as they...come. Otherwise not worth the attention at all.

Refuses to work with latest GeForce drivers as of Oct 11, 2020. In the two months since launch every driver release has required a five to ten minute "optimization" process. Now the game simply doesn't run with the new drivers because the devs work from home and are taking the weekend off or something. Not that there was any need for this, it's not the hardest game to release on PC. Sadly, this port took one of the best games of all time and marred its legacy with a sub-par port that you should not buy in the near future or until the developers get their act together finally.

The Last Quiet Day was heartfelt and competent, this feels like a bad early access release. Even the menus don't work right. If you use a controller, you can go up and down to settings, but not quit. Ridiculous. In game isn't better. Janky movement, boring hidden object gameplay, and laughably annoying puzzles - and that's in the first area. Give this one a big pass, you don't need it in your life.
