Short and sweet, very touching. A reminder to live life while you can. If it helps raise more awareness of cognitive brain disorders, all the better.

Worth it for the title music alone. However, does have a very clear liberal political agenda, and as someone leaning ever more conservative these days I'm well aware of that. This doesn't mean much, people can have different views so long as it's in good faith. That's what good storytelling lives by. I believe Road 96 is told in good faith.

Excellent mashup of STALKER, Fallout, and Metro, with nice environments, good story, and a competent gameplay loop. Also alcohol is straight up medicine in this one. Mousey likes!

Immediately apparent that this is a return to form for Wales Interactive. Low budget, small scale, intimate, big focus on characters rather than an attempt to play up locales etc. Night Book is a clear tribute and shout out to the Twilight Zone episode The Jungle, which is one of my favorites, so obviously it won't take much to recommend this game!

Only for COD collectors and fans. The single player campaign IMO is the second worst in COD history, only one up from COD 3 (2006). The PC version is also quite messy and hasn't aged very well. Still looks good, back in 2014 this was the first proper "next gen" Call of Duty, but now it's just OK. There's a lot of stutter if you try to run it in fullscreen, so stick to windowed fullscreen. Of all CODs, this one most earns the "plays itself" label, and unless you're a fan it's very missable.

After some initial confusion about the configuration, this works very well for a game I first played ten years ago on Xbox 360 while craving something like Diablo. RAW delivers that and runs great, still looks fine because these action dungeon crawlers don't really need much. It's very basic and kinda repetitive and dumb, but if you want an action RPG to ease your day and take your mind off things, this isn't a bad choice at all.

Good first impressions. This is a first person Soulsborne with a heavy metal, viking theme. Also has strong Skyrim vibes and the kick mechanic from Dying Light, which is used in the same way, to push enemies over edges or buy you some space. There's no stamina, so you can just hack away. Generally easier than Souls, but not sure, haven't played enough. Map design is suitably convoluted, graphics are basic but OK, framerate is through the roof. You should check it out.

Slow, tedious, and obtuse puzzler/walking sim with some very mediocre graphics and half baked game mechanics. Refunded just as quickly as bought it when it popped up in the store. Really wants to be Call of the Sea but there's just no comparison, this isn't even the amateur version, sadly.

More appealing and enjoyable in an hour than the overrated Automata was in ten hours each on three different platforms. There's no bloat here, just plain old quirky Japanese action role playing. Excellent way to experience the 2010 game if you haven't done so yet.

Slow, ponderous, and looks like 720p even in 4K. The directionless design would be OK if the game didn't save and then also had the nerve to crash quite often. After 30 minutes of frustration, I just uninstalled it. Life's too short, and this is coming from a big fan of cosmic horror walking sims.
