Avoid. While it does look and run better than it did on PS4 Pro, this is a buggy mess of a port. If you sneeze at your PC wrong, it'll crash. If you try to run it on the second Tuesday of the month, it'll freeze and collapse back to Steam after the Bend Studio logo. When it works it's great, but on PS4 Pro it works ALL THE TIME with just a minor hit to visual fidelity. Sure, the framerate on PC is unlimited, but so are the bugs. They still can't get controller support right, you need to launch the game with controller off. Or is it on? Not sure anymore. Trash.

Third playthrough, first PS4, then Xbox One, then PC. By 2021 this game has aged very poorly both in terms of gameplay and the artificially-political message it wants to convey. Aiming somehow feels a lot worse than New Order, and the story with its "white people bad everyone else good" hamfisted nonsense is a major turn off for me. Still, it runs very well and even if the shooting is average at best there's still some fun to be had. On launch a 7/10, now 5/10 at most.

Inexcusably bad performance on a 3090 with a sixteen thread CPU in May 2021 makes this a hard pass. Ran beautifully on the Xbox One X years ago. Stutter, horrible framerate. Even when lowering settings and resolution. DLSS makes no difference. Maybe this is a particular issue to AMD processors or some other esoteric nonsense, but it can't happen with a release this major.

Apparent from the get go this is a HUGE improvement on the first Contracts, and on all the Sniper Ghost Warrior Elite Recon Wildlands...heck not even sure what this franchise is called. Seems to run fine for me, somewhat clunky and does try really hard to be Hitman plus Ghost Recon. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. The minute to minute gameplay here is very flexible and rewarding, if you crave sniper action that also allows for guns blazing as well as stealth, this is a proper choice.

Arguably the easiest "AAA" game to review this year. It's a hot mess. Ten years ago Streum On were cool, quirky auteurs, but then they got trusted with Warhammer action titles, which they're patently incapable of delivering. It's one thing making janky, esoteric #### no one plays, but this is a major, almost full price title. And it's bad. Menus that don't work. Fonts that look like a PPT I put together in five minutes. Gameplay that tries to be DOOM and Titanfall but fails at both. One thing is from hell, and it's the framerate. All over the place. Graphics are poor, and that blasted dog we heard so much about does nothing most of the time, then literally appears OUT OF NOWHERE to bite someone's head off. Sorry but no, this is a hard fail, and you can be sure Streum On will be back in six months with an Enhanced Version, aka lipstick on a pig. Don't bother.

Doesn't even save per level. Exited? Crashed? Your time was wasted. And let's not make any mistake here, even with proper saves this is a shoddy, amateurish production that's a 6/10 at best. As it stands, a total fail.

Fifteen hours without a single glitch or bug that I can remember. That's already awesome. Add a great story that's not afraid to be about strong men, fatherhood, and family, plus superb supporting characters - especially Duke and Alcinda D. The graphics are excellent, and there's plenty of balanced action. Sure, the boss fights are bad and it's not the most hardcore RE ever, but I love Village. Highly recommended, just don't expect a massive open world, 40-hour campaign or anything like that.

Pointless, boring, and infuriating. Avoid it even if free. Your time is more valuable than some wannabe developer's pet project. Yes, it feels good to be mean after handing over 90 minutes of your life in a reality where every minute is precious because it could be your last. And having paid for the privilege! What a waste.

Right off the bat, a very enjoyable and intuitive combination of linear exploration, choice based story telling, and light survival/resource management. Has some nice lore and good writing, but the visuals leave much to be desired, with lots of draw distance issues. But overall excellent first impressions.
