I finished this game at once, 3 hours in a row, with all achievements, in one evening. I just coundn't get away from it. It's as if it's absurdity and my disturbed mind were linked together.

It does have a scenario: you are a spy, who executes missions assigned by his boss in some kind of cold war universe (?) The game is full of random references such as Hitchcock movies or even ninja turtles (if you find the ninja turtle one I can tell you that you're gonna have the stupidest laugh you ever had).

But the real core of that game is it's... humour. Absurd humour. This is so absurd. To give you a really quick example you'll have to... wait, no I can't do that. I can't spoil you any of these wonderful crazy moments. If that's not your kind of humour you'll probably consider that game as the worst joke ever, if it is your kind of humour you'll probably try to find each single nonsense, reference and mini game.

So it's up to you. Is your mind twisted enough for that game ?

PS: I want wedding qake to become a thing.

Good sequel of HL2, still as good as the original. ^^

Was a good game (mod ?) based on HL2's source engine. It's really valve-like, you have one precise path to take, you encounter many "use-your-brain-to-figure-out-how-to-get-out-of-here" parts and you live each single event through the character's eyes. The scenario is good (from what we know till here) and there are many fun things such as cute cat videos and the fact that they used Dr. Kleiner as a totally random scientist in the game !
Moreover it has fun achievements. ^^

Bon jeu, basé sur le "source engine" de HL2. Typique du jeu Valve, un chemin précis à prendre, beacoup d'endroits ou il faut réfléchir pour trouver une solution, et on vit tous les evenements à travers les yeux du perso. Le scenar est bon (de ce qu'on en sait jusque là) et il y a pas mal de trucs marrant style des videos de chats et le fait qu'ils aient réutilisé le Dr. Kleiner pour en faire un scientifique completement sans relation avec l'original.
En plus les succes sont simples et marrants. ^^

Awesome single player game, mainly thanks to it's AMAZING scenario and it's really immersive aspect. It's probably even the best FPS solo game I've ever played after Portal.

As usual in Valve games, there is no cutscenes, all events are lived through Gordon's eyes and that's what makes it so immersive.
There are some great passages where you really need to search well for an entry, a way out...
The game universe is really great even tho the game doesn't explain much about it. (Combine occupation, Gordon's story... etc) That's why you should raelly browse the wiki for more infos.
Many things remind of portal (the musics) (the citadel, that huuuuge building reminds a lot of portal 2) and the 2 games are even supposed to take place at the same time. (There are some allusions to Black mesa in portal and some allusions of Aperture in HL).
However the game can be a little buggy, and the achievements are bugged as usual in Source games...



Excellent jeu solo, surtout grace a son super scenar et son coté immersif. C'est meme surement le meilleur FPS solo auquel j'ai joué apres portal.

Comme d'hab dans les jeux Valve, pas de cinématiques, on vit tout à travers les yeux de Gordon, et c'est ce qui rend le jeu si immersif.
Il y a de bons passages ou il faut bien chercher pour une sortie, une entrée... etc.
L'univers du jeu est vraiment enorme meme si le jeu n'explique que peu de choses dessus (l'occupation Combine, l'histoire de Gordon...etc ) c'est pourquoi ca vaut vraiment le coup de jeter un oeil au wiki.
Beacoup de choses rappelent Portal (la musique, l'ambiance sur les bords) (le citadelle, qui rappele portal 2) et les 2 jeux se passent meme en meme temps, dans le meme univers (il y a des allusions à Black Mesa dans Portal et des allusions à Aperture dans HL)
Seul défauts le jeu bug un peu et les succés eux buggent aussi pas mal, comme d'habitude dans les jeux source.

Same idea as L4D2 ofc, but the fact that some things are missing can change the deal.

- No melee weapon, which means that hordes are MUCH more effective agaisn't survivors, and that the boomer gets even more useful
- The best weapons are the hunting sniper, the M16, and an automatic shotgun, which make it harder for the survivors.
- There is no 1. Spitter (makes it a good thing to hide in small rooms for survivors in all the cases) 2. Charger (much less insta kills possible) 3. Jockey (♥♥♥♥ yeah I hate them)
- Knowing the last 3 infected, being alone as survivor is even more dangerous (hunter is probably the best one to get alone survs, and with the smoker its really easy and it can make quite much damages too. Unlike the jockey who makes less damages, or the charger with whom its much harder to get one single person)
- Some items are missing such as adrenaline, defibs, laser sights or fire ammo.

So in the end L4D1 lowers the tactic possiblities as infected (pretty much always the same idea with these 3 ones) but also makes it more complicated for survivors on many levels, which is a good thing knowing how they're OVER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ POWERED in L4D2.

Many peaple hate L4D2 and just like L4D1, that's understandable, the first one is fairer in the realtion survivors / infected, but the second one has much more fun items, and much better maps too as for me.

A great game where i'm a flying bee padawan and Ozzy is my jedi master. I could definite it as a 2D minecraft but with much more fights, bosses, NPC's, weapons, weird creatures, Chtulu anatomy parts and pumkins.

Awesome game, which's gameplay and interface are based on the first Zelda. It is mostly based on the random way some objects spawn during the game and on how to use them in the best way. You really need to know your ennemis and objects, so its nearly unpossible to beat the game in a few time, even if it gets easier when you use this http://www.platinumgod.co.uk/ (that's not a cheat unlike the name of the page seems to say it). Finally the game is really wealthy in references from other video games (Super meat boy, Mario, Bomberman...) and from bilblical references (the name and scenario o the game themself, the 4 horsemen, the 7 sins...)

Awesome story and events, WONDERFUL graphics (probably the most beatiful game i saw in my life), great characters, and some good enigmas: this game is great. Only little reproach could be that the choice that you make don't affect that much the story

Good FPS/ Survival horror. The typical game mode of the game is really CoD-Zombie like, but with more weapons and hopefully a way to send money to other players :D. The "ZED's" are a bit wtf but you get used to it, and finally the maps are awesome and soooo fun (Aperture, Ice cave, Abusement park... etc) :D
