I'm recommending this game because you'll get 20-30 minutes of fun before you realize that's the whole game, but don't really expect any more.

Early Access Review
If you like short run-based action RPGs, the previous releases by Supergiant, and Greek mythology, I'm qualified to say that you'll love Hades.

Despite being in Early Access, I'm still nowhere near the end of the content available. However, if you're the kind of person who want to just get to the ending of a game and move on, maybe wait until the proper release.

Updating my review: I've now gotten every achievement in Hades on 3 different platforms. This is easily the second best action roguelike (while it has stronger fundamentals, nothing compares to the run variety and sheer amount of content in Binding of Isaac). Runs great on the Steam Deck, and if you don't have one of those, the PC version has cross-save with the Switch. I've at least beaten every Supergiant game and think they're all worth playing, but Hades is my favorite by far. Cannot wait for the Hades II Early Access to start.

One of the best "I need something to do with my hands for 45 minutes while I listen to a podcast" games I've ever played.

Early Access Review
It's a really good combination of a traditional roguelike and an open-world RPG. As someone who's played a ton of Dungeon Crawl and a decent amount of Nethack, the difficulty feels a lot gentler after the early game meat grinder; I generally only die if I'm going into new territory and underestimate the challenge.

It's still definitely an Early Access game, but for what it's worth I haven't seen the end of the content in the current build even after tens of hours, and haven't had too many interface problems.

One of my favorite tower defense games. The basic mechanics are pretty standard, but the theming and story are excellent, and the metagame progression encourages replaying levels and trying out different strategies. Also, it's surprisingly long.

This game is still way too buggy to recommend. I played slightly beyond the point where I can get a refund, and now I can't walk in the game any more. Maybe it'll be okay after some more patches, but I'm not going to hold my breath for these people.

Ties a bunch of f2p crap and social media popups in the game. If I play a free to play game enough, I'll throw some money into it, but not if it does this BS.

Definitely worth picking up if you have nostalgia for playing the Space Channel 5 games on Dreamcast, or if you like weird late 90s/early 2000s rhythm games when game companies were still figuring those out. I've only played a couple levels, but I did not notice any lag or timing issues. Also, the dialogue and music are from the original Japanese, not the (in my opinion) terrible English dub from the PS2 port. All in-game onscreen text is in English, outside of some cutscenes.

If there's any serious problems with this port, it's that the pre-rendered cutscenes are the same old standard definition ones, which is very jarring when it switches to the actual game.

Space Channel 5: Part 2 is 100% worth your five bucks, and honestly you're probably reading this during a Steam Sale when it's like a dollar, in which case it's a must buy if you like musical games.

Fullscreen bugged out for me, but otherwise this game was very cool and definitely worth the six minutes and zero dollars I spent on it.

The only clicker/idle game that doesn't become a slog of tedium after 100 hours.
