the good: really fun swinging around the city, Pete is a funny likeable guy, the main story is good, theres lots to do

the mid: combat sucks until you unlock some of the more interesting gadgets, default controls are fiddly so maybe have a change around n see what works for you, the bits where you play as MJ and Miles in stealth sections are really boring

the bad: the dlc sucks lmao just dont play that part

definitely worth getting on sale

relaxing fishing game where everything is normal and nothing weird happens

authentic feeling, atmospheric survival horror game. really nails that silent hill 1 vibe

very fun and engaging once you get on its weird pacing

later levels have a lot of glitches & physics issues

a huge improvement on the first game in every way (you should still play the first game it rocks)

games bad. you know about the predatory loot crate/battlepass ♥♥♥♥ so games bad mechanically too:
when going from OW1 to OW2, they removed one tank from the teams, but they did not rebalance anything to account for this. this fundamental change has caused:
- one tank cannot properly protect the rest of their team. playing tank as a tank feels bad because its way too easy to get focused down without another tank to protect you while your own abilities recharge, so you pick a tank that can do DPS sorta good. (DVA, Roadhog, Orisa)
- because one tank cannot protect their team, both healers are much more vulnerable to enemy DPS. pure healers are bad because they do not contribute to team DPS, so you choose one of the healers that is basically a DPS class with healing abilities (Ana, Moira)
- entire team is now DPS. entire game is now insta-kill damage race with no nuance like OW1. game sucks.
