Description
You know I love beastmen and Malagor as a LL. But always had a feeling that he missed something. And guess what that is - right, lores of magic. You see in tabletop he can have one of 4 lore for each battle while here he's down to only lore of the wild for the whole campaign.
Same goes for Archaon (this guy isnt about casting at all but still)
And of course the Fay. I mean this lady has access to ALL FREAKING 8 LORES in tabletop.

CHANGES

So this mod fixes that and gives these three Legendary Lords what they deserve - all lores of magic they have in tabletop. They still can take one lore in battle, but now you can choose that lore.

HOW THIS WORKS

There are 9 new skills, one per each wind
Hysh, the White Wind -- Lore of Light
Azyr, the Blue Wind -- Lore of the Heavens
Chamon, the Yellow Wind -- Lore of Metal
Ghyran, the Green Wind -- Lore of Life
Ghur, the Brown Wind -- Lore of Beasts
Aqshy, the Red Wind -- Lore of Fire
Ulgu, the Grey Wind -- Lore of Shadow
Shyish, the Purple Wind -- Lore of Death
and Huizh Oshuiph - Wild Magic (the name is in Beast Tongue)

They are open form level 1. When you get this skill you get an arcane item (the wind itself) with same name that opens for your the spells of this lore.
Spell skills have spells of all lores that this lod has access to (they all are listed in desription of the skill), but to use them you have to have the wind item.
What this means is that for each fight you can choose different lore.


BUT, IT TAKES A TURN TO CHANGE LORES/ITEMS

So Malagor comes with:
Lore of Wild
Lore of Beasts
Lore of Shadow
Lore of Death
Archaon:
Lore of Fire
Lofe of Metal
Lore of Death
Lore of Shadow
Fay Enchantress:
Lore of Light
Lore of the Heavens
Lore of Metal
Lore of Life
Lore of Beasts
Lore of Fire
Lore of Shadow
Lore of Death


This mod is meant to make these three better, make Malagor better and Fay a damn powerful caster that you should fear.

Also if you think that casters in common are not that good and miss something to be just perfect check my other mod, It adds Wizard Levels to the game, meaning that now you can tell the difference between a petty 1st level necromancer and the Lichemaster Heinrich Kemmler.

Oh and idk this is just an idea, but since the LL caster lords have a mix of spells, it would probably make their skill tree pointless cause they get all those abilities from the different lores anyway. Maybe the abilities they can gain in their skill tree can be changed to give them different benefits so they can at the same time become more distinguishable from regular caster. It would probably be more work, so of course it's up to you, but I thought I'd share the idea :D

Hi man. I was curious whether you're working on a similar mod for tww2. I thought about playing a mazdamundi campaign but If you're already working on something then I would rather wait :)

Alternatively, you can also replace the overcast spell on all spells with another lores spells. This would enable a total of six lores on one character using just the three ui elements. I tried doing this with four lores using a dummy lore to take the place of the occluded fourth lore and it didn't want to work all that well.

@Rafal the issue is a UI issue. You can add an unlimited number of tabs of spells, but, only three will display. The fourth Lore Tab will always be obscured by the third Spell UI element for casting. Further. Slots Five and Seven will be partly occluded as well. At most you can only display a grand total of three spell lores without it being unpleasent asthetically.

What you could do, (and what I would suggest for the mod author come Warhammer 2) is give one lore permanently, and then have the other lores switchable too using this item mechanism. For instance a Slann could have all of High Magic then any one of the eight colour lores and that would display properly. Doing anything more seems a very complex logic to me.

I know that he made it for a custom Exalted Lord of Change. BUUUUT, legendary Lords Remastered gave to Kemler 2 more spells (summon spells) and he made them be able to selected like if they were different lores (like, another tab of spells)

Hey, isnt possible for you to add all the lores without the need for a item? The ultimate chaos mod, on one of his lords, was able to give them 3 lores, fully working, able to swap between them without any problem.

I would very much like that! I am looking for a method to achieve lore swapping for Slann when Warhammer 2 drops and your's so far seems the best way to do this :D
