Oh and idk this is just an idea, but since the LL caster lords have a mix of spells, it would probably make their skill tree pointless cause they get all those abilities from the different lores anyway. Maybe the abilities they can gain in their skill tree can be changed to give them different benefits so they can at the same time become more distinguishable from regular caster. It would probably be more work, so of course it's up to you, but I thought I'd share the idea :D

Hi man. I was curious whether you're working on a similar mod for tww2. I thought about playing a mazdamundi campaign but If you're already working on something then I would rather wait :)

@Zarathurstra, do you happen to know how i can make it so the vanilla lore of magic is always avaible?
Zarathustra 30 Jul, 2017 @ 12:50am
Alternatively, you can also replace the overcast spell on all spells with another lores spells. This would enable a total of six lores on one character using just the three ui elements. I tried doing this with four lores using a dummy lore to take the place of the occluded fourth lore and it didn't want to work all that well.

@Rafal the issue is a UI issue. You can add an unlimited number of tabs of spells, but, only three will display. The fourth Lore Tab will always be obscured by the third Spell UI element for casting. Further. Slots Five and Seven will be partly occluded as well. At most you can only display a grand total of three spell lores without it being unpleasent asthetically.

What you could do, (and what I would suggest for the mod author come Warhammer 2) is give one lore permanently, and then have the other lores switchable too using this item mechanism. For instance a Slann could have all of High Magic then any one of the eight colour lores and that would display properly. Doing anything more seems a very complex logic to me.

I didnt played with archeon yet to know if he did the same
Rachel L 29 Jul, 2017 @ 6:34pm
I know that he made it for a custom Exalted Lord of Change. BUUUUT, legendary Lords Remastered gave to Kemler 2 more spells (summon spells) and he made them be able to selected like if they were different lores (like, another tab of spells)
BlackHeart  [author] 29 Jul, 2017 @ 6:02pm
Which lord?
Rachel L 29 Jul, 2017 @ 5:21am
Hey, isnt possible for you to add all the lores without the need for a item? The ultimate chaos mod, on one of his lords, was able to give them 3 lores, fully working, able to swap between them without any problem.
Zarathustra 28 Jul, 2017 @ 9:01pm
I would very much like that! I am looking for a method to achieve lore swapping for Slann when Warhammer 2 drops and your's so far seems the best way to do this :D
BlackHeart  [author] 28 Jul, 2017 @ 3:00pm
@Zarathustra it's a bit complicated, but I can explain it to you in pm if you like)
Malekith 28 Jul, 2017 @ 12:35pm
wtf is tabletop ? since everyone uses this word now for his mods can anyone explain to me what it is
Zarathustra 27 Jul, 2017 @ 3:45pm
Ah they how did you do it! I can't figure out a way to duplicate the method (mostly out of curiosity :))
BlackHeart  [author] 27 Jul, 2017 @ 11:03am
Hm didnt no there's such an issue
Probably the reason for that is that they in fact dont give you any)
Zarathustra 27 Jul, 2017 @ 9:55am
Hey how did you get around the issue with items not being able to grant more than three abilities?
Rachel L 24 Jul, 2017 @ 3:55pm
every school besides the vanilla.
Rachel L 24 Jul, 2017 @ 3:54pm
I have a suggestion tough (that i think will even make your mod more compatible). Instead editing the vanilla magic tree, why not only add a new tree line where the first skill gives you the items (first level gives the vanilla lore item) and every new node (unlocked only after "buying" the first skill) gives the magic corresponding to the node on the vanilla vanilla magic tree for every school?
Rachel L 24 Jul, 2017 @ 3:50pm
Okay, its not your mod, its a conflict between mods... *sighs*
Rachel L 24 Jul, 2017 @ 3:41pm
Your mod makes all the skills you edited dont have name or icon or anything. (i did disabled all the mods that could be changing anything related to magic and/or the lords that you change)
Röhrio 22 Jul, 2017 @ 9:53am
Nice, thanks for the mod!
BlackHeart  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 4:48pm
Thats probably some other compatibily issue
Rachel L 21 Jul, 2017 @ 3:47pm
It clashes with Cataph's: Wizard Lord Campaign Buffs and Cataph's: Bretonnian Character Skills Tweaks since they both edit the lords (i only tested with the Fay btw). Also, it seems like all your "skills" have no name and texts.
BlackHeart  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 8:55am
@Rafal Should be working
@ Sure I do, I mean Mazdamundi, how could I not give all those lores heh
Malykriss 21 Jul, 2017 @ 8:51am
planning on doing this for other lords in the future by any chance?
Rachel L 21 Jul, 2017 @ 7:59am
Oh right, and what about the Ultimate Chaos mod? (i have to ask since you change Archeon too)
BlackHeart  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 7:54am
Emm I dont see why it wouldnt
I think it should work just fine
Rachel L 21 Jul, 2017 @ 6:35am
Ah ok. So, i am correct to think it would be compatible with Starting Traits Remastered, Legendary Lords Remastered and Cataph's: Wizard Lord Campaign Buffs ?
Malykriss 21 Jul, 2017 @ 6:07am
Have you tested whether the AI uses this feature?
BlackHeart  [author] 21 Jul, 2017 @ 4:25am
You learn them as usual
Take Malagor. You take a spell skill and get 4 spells, one for each lore, lets say devolve, flock of doom, aspect of dreadknight and enfeebling foe
But to get access to them in battle you must have in inventory an arcane item with an appropriate wind. It allows you to use spells of this particular lore in battle
Rachel L 20 Jul, 2017 @ 7:41pm
I am a little confused still. How exactly do we learn the spells?
Malignant Peasant 20 Jul, 2017 @ 6:30pm
really interestng way of implementing this, good job
