Trace Rooms

Description
A mod to add a few dozen emprie rooms focusing on useful RP and vanilla artstyle.



- There are ~50 manually done rooms, ranging from dark spiritualist, to cities, to hives, to a pack of rooms I first made for a multiplayer game.
- Unlocks the pre-FTL and specialist rooms for empire setup.
- Notably there's a different graphic for 'medieval' and 'victorian' rooms that fit post-FTL a bit better and contrast real pre-FTL empires.
- Mod is trimmed to prevent art style clash and gets graphic updates occasionally.

Notes:
The base game includes far more selectable rooms than it did in 2017, but this mod still fills various niches and unlocks a few vanilla rooms.

Rooms are partly 'window' type and partly 'background'. Window rooms are like the vanilla, where you can see the planet behind, while background rooms take up the whole room portrait space.

I've removed or improved the worst ones so that only rooms worth using stay in.

No localisation needed to work: Room names are under the hood. Russians and Chinese rejoice.
Should be compatible with everything, rooms are added to menus, they don't replace base files.

Paradox and their artists. Edited by me, GIMP and Photoshop used.
I used a few bits of art I sourced when I first made the mod as an unprofessional teenager, contact me if you want credit, I happily will.

I approve of letting me know all the same! I'm trying to get my game working to fix other broken mods anyway, if I do I'll go through the rooms and see if any are obviously missing. It could possibly even be conflict with vanilla if they added ones that used to be cut content.

Don't know if it's due to mod conflicts on my end, but two of is mod's rooms are currently broken.

Probably not but those are actually the ones I prefer myself. They don't show naturally on AI empires though.

I discovered the cause of my problem -- the "Gigastructural Engineerign and More" mod was somehow interfering with the rooms. But I found a fix right here in the Workshop.

Still there for me just at the very end, slot 79 of 79. I'll get a buddy to try too soon since it might work differently for me since it's loaded from my documents.

I think that your mod is somehow not letting the new Toxoid room to appear -- I'm nt seeing it in the Room Selection.
