Description
Horrors are coming back in SE, after a year. And become better.
Please read following recommendations down bellow, for better playing experience


1) Fixed a bug, when Interior turret at first stage was become invulnerable, after checkpoint reload.

2) Fixed a bug, when some questlines, don't have attached sounds.

3) Fixed various bugs, related to checkpoint reload system.

4) Chat messages duration time and pop up time is increased.

5) Fixed many grammar issues.

6) Fixed a bug with weapon room door, and exit door at first stage of a map.

7) Fixed bugs with deleted mods

8) Script bug that cause you to slowly die without energy is fixed




1) This level- it's bonus mission from main campaign of Outpost 17 Survival Scenario. Chapter Zero: Failled investigation(Part 3: Power management) and presents some of "Power management" questline missions. It's not so big, and, i hope, you can run it on low-end PC's or laptops. It's also uses some remastered content from my old maps. Map contains screamers, flashing light, and other horror elements, so be carefull.

2) This is the demo version. I won't release full 14 episodes campaign only because of Keens. As you can notice, we still don't have official campaign tool, for downloading and share our custom levels to workshop as a campaign. More over, StateMachine Scripts, that keeps your campaign as whole thing, and responsible for questline, your actions on maps and their effects, your inventory from map to map, and many other things, is working only in directory, where located official campaign. That means, if you try to setup files, and do your campaign in any directory, except \SpaceEngineers\Content\Campaigns, it will not work. And you don't have any tools or guides, how to organize your scripts and levels to a campaign structure. As it is, still, developers doesn't gives a s_h_i_t about this problem. So, i decided to don't force you, guys, to create some stupid folders in your game directory, to put my campaign there and following stupid instructions, waste your time, when something is gone wrong(it can, did you remember the Clang, right?), and release only one level from whole campaign. One level, that's it, all that the game allows for now.

3) As you can know, i lost a year, when i was in Army, so it was really hard, back to SE realities after it. I spend 2 months in attemps to learn campaign related stuff of Visual scripting(we dont have proper guides and tools, as i said before), and lost more nerve cells than when i was in the military academy. I hope, that the map, and the script, will work fine now, and you enjoyed it as much, as i do, after all this.

4) Map script created with Visual Scripting, that allows me to create an objectives for you and track your progress. You don't waste your time anymore, in attempts to understand what to do next.



1) Questline tool, like in original campaign, will lead you to success. Also, suit AI will help you too.

2) You don't have hydrogen and energy, because your suit is damaged at this campaign stage.

3) But you have a rifle. Use it against shadows and drones.

4) The level has a autosaving feature. It save automatically, at the checkpoints, so, if you dies, last checkpoint will be reloaded.

5) Level script uses highlights for objectives. Just look around.

6) Level script mod contains also music mod, so ensure that you have game music and contextual music enabled. I recommend you set 60-70% of music volume, and 55-60% of sound volume.

7) Read notes, dialogues, it will help you understand, what's going on here.

8) Carefully inspect each room, perhaps there are parts, or other things that you need to pass this level.

9) Use your observation skill. There is nothing, that just accidentally happened. All events are meaning something(even lighting malfunctions)

10) You are not alone on the base, just like in my old maps. In seconds, the situation of the peace and quiet can turn into life-threatening.

11) Shadows, also known as "Thing" can now randomly appear near you to attack, or use turrets, drones, and many other things to kill you.

12) In some places, you can find stuff, that will helps you a lot (Controlable turrets, ammo, guns, spare parts).

13) In secret places, you can find advanced weapons, tools or more lore about Outpost 17.

14) There is still exist bug, that related to checkpont reload system. It's a game bug, and i can't do nothing with that. So, try to stay alive there, guys. If you having problem with that- check the second video.



The Outpost transit system is still depowered. To continue your way to the Hangars, you need to power it up. According to staff notes, there is an Engineering Divison, near Training field, that responsible for old Solar Cluster Facility. As you have seen at Training field, there is only one way to the Solar Cluster is still exist. But you don't wan't to go in that way. However, you manage to find access codes for Engineering Division Lobby, from there, you can try reach the distance control station of Cluster.



Primary objective for demo is simple: Reach the Solar Cluster.



The rifle can now help you get rid of Thing, as well as light. Wherever you are, first of all, look for light sources, they will help you survive if the Shadows will attack you.
I could not test the map good enough, i just don't have so many ideas, how to break my map, as you guys, so you can meet a bugs when you try to playthrough this. If you find something that on your opinion- bug, please contact me here, in comment section, I will try to fix it.

the game is still alive, it didnt fully released actually, much more dlcs and updates to come, just like no man's sky. Bought it last week

@GeneralFurry, i have lost my passion to this game a long time ago. Still have some ready, unfinished partially-ready locations on HDD, tho. I cannot promise anything, i'm not even near my old PC with scenario files, but if i someday wiil be around, i will copy scenario files, map files, and will try to update this version, or even make short (3 levels, incuded the one that presented on this page), based on old works, scenario, that will have a look like a properly functioning SE campaign. The oucomes will depends on how Keens managed to do the scenario creating tools, after all this years. Because if it still looks like shiеt, i will lost hope for humanity :d

its been 3 years... cant you release the campaing with us setting up the custom folders? I wouldnt mind creating some folders to play this amazing campaing, despite you not having the campaing tools

btw... some of the doors... I can access the control panel and change them to ON state and open them myself.

at start tells me to destory the turret but I only have 2 clips and they do nothing to it. :mansob:

hey one Qeustion what happens in the end do you die does Edward live and become good or do you kill Edward and get out alive? what happens?
