Hermes V2 Class Freighter (Planetary Survey)

The Hermes V2 hull is a completely redesigned version of the aging original design in order to provide a fast, low cost, flexible design.

The Hermes V2 Planetary Survey Ship was designed to provide the same functions as the Prospector varient, but on planets.


Please note:
- Below 6km; acceleration is low.
- Do not load craft to a total mass greater than 1,500,000. A total ship mass greater than this may not be able to lift-off.
-- Ship not rated for use on any planet with greater than 1g! (Ie, not rated for Alien Planet!).
- This ships is unarmed and is intended as a purely civilian merchantman!


Layout:

- Cockpit on the upper rear, only accessible externally.
- Heket Landing Pad upper rear.
- Port and Starboard Air Locks as well as the Ventral (ground) air lock all lead to the crew area.


Updates/Changes in the Hermes V2:

- Redesigned aft section
- Ship Hydrogen tanks moved within hull.
- Removed Large reactors, replace with lots of small reactors
- Added Oxygen Farms
- New fore section designed
- Mid-section redsigned to look more structual.
- Added Scripts
- Majority of connectors are now on pistons
- Added jump drives! (Range: 4,000km)
- Reduced number of ship oxygen tanks and oxygen generators.
