Ultimate Constitution Enterprise Refit

Description
Please note: A new version of this Enterprise now exists which utilizes the new DLC blocks and has some other improvements. Please see here for the DLC version: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2162514854

I believe this may be the best, most accurate, detailed, survival-ready, vanilla starship Enterprise you will find in Space Engineers. It is also the most proportionate to the shape of the ship, colored and lighted for best cinematic effect.

This version is Captain Kirk's original ship (NCC-1701) after the refit, as it was seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture through Star Trek III (TMP, WOK, SFS). Areas seen only in The Original Series (TOS) were included as well.

The ship has every level, every room and department all laid out. The number of levels and what is on each level are correct in most cases, with only a little artistic license and adjustments made here and there for practical purposes (as per "Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise" and other references).

Hundreds of lights, stations, screens - all labeled, systematically named, and grouped. Included are:
- The bridge
- Captain and First Officer's Quarters (laid out as seen in WOK)
- Phaser (gatling) Control room
- Security (with cameras showing all areas of the ship)
- VIP Lounge (TMP)
- Officer's Quarters
- VIP Quarters
- Crew Quarters
- Rec Deck (TMP)
- Mess Hall and Crew Lounge
- Kitchen (assumed similar to Enterprise-A's seen in Star Trek VI: TUC)
- Briefing Room (TOS)
- Auxilliary (battle) bridge (TOS)
- Sickbay, Doctor's Office, Examination Room (TMP, WOK)
- Science Lab
- Gymnasium (TOS)
- Impulse Engineering
- Chapel (TOS)
- Workbee Bay (TMP - only exterior hatch shown)
- Transporter Rooms 1 and 2 (2 seen in TMP and SFS)
- Brig
- Officer's Lounge (assumed same as Enterprise-A's seen in Star Trek V: TFF)
- Computer core
- Sensor Monitoring Station
- Primary Hull underside EVA hatch (TMP)
- Primary Hull topside small hatch (TMP)
- Torpedo Bay and Engineering side entry ports (TMP, WOK)
- Torpedo Room (WOK)
- upper and Main Engineering (TMP, WOK)
- Dilithium chamber (WOK)
- Cargo bays (TMP)
- Backup Communications
- Auxilliary Power room (batteries)
- Fabrication (control, refining, assembly rooms)
- Botanical Garden (green colored floor with Oxygen farm for looks)
- Swimming pool
- Lifeboat ports (lifeboats also available in my workshop)
- Docking Control and Observation stations
- Shuttlebay
- Life Support (engineering hull) and Auxilliary life support (primary hull)
- Probe Bay
- Warp coils inside nacelles
- Red Alert timer block activates red lights, shuts all doors, sounds alert, and turns on weapon systems.
- Lots of interesting nooks and Jeffries Tubes between walls and decks,
in places that make sense for maintenance and repairs.

MAKING IT WORK IN SPACE ENGINEERS:
All power systems, conveyors, connectors, ammo, etc work and are operational in a manner expected for Enterprise's actual parts (as closely as vanilla Space Engineers can approximate). All rooms lit, with light switches.
This model takes some things for granted:
- In ST, the matter and antimatter is deuterium, which is super-cooled liquid hydrogen, so I named the hydrogen tanks matter/antimatter storage.
- Warp coils are artificial mass blocks.
- Gravity generators are plasma injectors, which power the warp coils (mass blocks) to propel the ship.
- Gatling Turrets are Phaser Banks and Rocket Launchers are Torpedoes. Interior turrets are what I used for single phasers (not in a phaser bank as on the primary hull) such as those on the underside and aft of the ship.
- Jump Drives are still used inside the nacelles, for longer warp jumps.

SUPPORT VEHICLES & STRUCTURES:
You will want to also download some support vehicles from my workshop that go with this design. These include:
- Constitution Class Lifeboat (6 of these fit into the lower side hull, and complete a smoother exterior look when installed.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1223785656
- Dilithium Chamber (the pedastool shaped object Spock worked on in STII for the dilithium chamber)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1230524127
- Old-style Ship Wheel (as seen in the Officer's Lounge in STV)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1230538698
- Federation Shuttlecraft TMP (2 of these will fit into the aft main shuttlebay)
Mark 1 (ion/slower but 2 medium cargo containers)

Mark 2 (hydro/faster but only 1 medium cargo container and limited fuel)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1225372049
- Federation Class 1 probe (2 of these fit into the probe bay on the underside of the engineering hull).

- Workbee with grabber attachment
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1229900802

OTHER VEHICLES:
Some other vehicles aren't meant to travel with the Enterprise, but are used by spacedock when it is docked. These include:
- Federation Travelpod
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1224183152
- Federation Travelpod Mk 2 (DLC, pressurized)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2162819825
- Workbee with cargo attachment
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1229900501
- Warp Sled (for attaching to shuttlecraft)

LASTLY:
When you get on board, go to the briefing room and read the instructions before attempting to pilot this ship. There are lots of other funny, trivia callouts, or interesting easter eggs throughout the other screens on the ship.

Looking forward to hearing what you think! :)

CREDITS:
While I did a huge amount of work on this, I began with a model created by Eliseu do brasil, which was an update to the model originally created by Abaddon (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1223791582&tscn=1634338121). Large areas of the external shape of the ship came from this model. I reshaped several areas to be more screen-accurate. Also, it was made in the early days of Space Engineers before there were even color options, glass windows, different engines, atmosphere, or many of the blocks we have now. The inside was largely empty. It also used the method of propulsion where engines are hidden internally. This version does not use that method. However, Eliseu perfectly captured the graceful nacelle support pilons and the overall scale wonderfully so thanks should go to this person.

I also want to thank Keen, Lora Johnson (writer of "Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise"), Rick Sternback and Michael Okuda (many of their ideas from the Next Gen tech manual made it into the general ship philosophy), Matt Jefferies for the Original Series design, and of course Gene Roddenberry.

Thanks Abaddon! I didn't realize you did the original before Eliseu. I have updated my credits paragraph to mention you and provide your link! Thanks for the great work :)

Kudos for all you work on this model, it´s simply amazing the level of detail and the care you put recreating all the decks and for Eliseu to recover this old model, make it work again and enhance it, I just want to notice that the original model was mine https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=193694091

I found one good TOS Enterprise, but there is no Interior, and the entire Engineering sction is one big hall

Understandable Yuki. At least I can say that many interior places are based on TOS enterprise, like the chapel, and especially Impulse Engineering, which is dutifully recreated to look like TOS (while warp engineering was made to look like the films).

I really want this, but as a TOS Enterprise
I've been searching for one for ages

Oh also, if you did mean the lifeboats, their page has a picture of them and in the background is the Enterprise. You can see in that pic they are lined up right behind them.

Or, if you mean the Shuttle Pods, those can connect with the doors on the sides of the ship, at the torpedo bat level or lower hull level. But they aren't meant to travel with the ship. They belong to starbases and such.

Do you mean the lifeboats? They are here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1223785656
You place them into the open spaces along the back of the lower hull. They should fit flush and snug into the spot, clamped on with their landing gear.
