Mod/Scenario - None (Vanilla)


The twentieth in my First Run Hover Vehicles series, the HoverDozer is a T2 CPU "mid level but upgradable", single person enclosed (air tight) Mining ground vehicle.
Equipped with six Mechanical Drills for digging and two Gatling Turrets to defend against hostile drones.
The HoverDozer is equipped with: an 8k SU Ore & Wood container; a 500 SU Ammo container; one large & three small cargo boxes; a Mini-Fridge; an O² Station with five O² Tanks; a Wi-Fi; and a detector.
The HoverDozer is lifted by two large and four small Hover Engines by default, plus two more large Hover Engines set to "MaxLift". It also had another two large and four small hover engines closer to the centreline of the vehicle that are turned on using the "Mining Hovers" Custom Signal (that also turns the default ones off) in an effort to prevent the rocking back and forth usually experienced on uneven ground left between drills when digging that occurs when the hover engines are too far apart.
For propulsion it has six Medium T1 Thrusters for forward thrust and four medium T1s for all other directions, plus four T1 medium thrusters pointing downward at the rear to help the Dozer pitch forward when starting to dig into the ground. It also has three Hover Boosters and two RCSs (on by default). It's power generation consists of two large Generators with five large Fuel Tanks.
- NOTE - any Mini Fridges on board come turned off by default.

- NOTE - since recording the tour video I have learned that you do not need to quadruple the vehicle's mass when calculating the lift capacity in 4G.
I can confirm that, in 4G with Max Lift ON, it will lift ~101.9 (metric) tons, and with a vehicle mass of 26.2t, the hover engines will lift a further ~75.7t.
Also, these figures DO NOT take the new (June 2025) lift thrusters into account - so if you're struggling to carry any weight in a high G environment, remember that you can drive around with "MiningMode" on for extra lift capacity.

By replacing the T2 CPU Extender in the cab and the two matching blocks marked with "T3" on the other side with the T3 CPU Extenders, the following modifications can then be made to the HoverDozer:
Replace the 6 Mechanical Drills with Laser Drills;
Replace the pink blocks in the cab with a Pentaxid Tank;
Replace the 9 light brown blocks (plus the 9 red blocks beneath) on top at the back with a retractable Drill Turret;
Add a Shield to the rear compartment (remove LCD Screens);
Add four Power Generators to the rear compartment (remove LCD Screens);
Upgrade all Medium T1 Thrusters to T2 Mediums.

Turning the 'Power Save' custom signal on turns the following devices off:
Wi-Fi; Lights & Ramps control Motion Sensors; Cab display holoprojectors.
The hazard beacons on the HoverDozer come on automatically when using the "Drills" Custom Signals.
