01. WHAT IS THIS MOD?

> This is a QUALITY OF LIFE (QoL) Mod.

> This mod adds a SKILLBOOK VENDOR to various convenient locations in-game, that provides the skill: "Venomous-Regeneration."

Venomous-Regeneration is a poison-type healing spell targeted toward UNDEAD party members. However, it can also be used to poison living targets. Similar in nature to the Hydrosophist skill "Restoration," when the spell is cast upon an UNDEAD character, that character will receive healing in the combined form of a direct heal and subsequent heals-over-time. The effectiveness of Venomous-Regeneration is dependent upon the player's mastery, I.E., a number of points allocated to GEOMANCY; the more points invested, the stronger the heal and subsequent portion of heals-over-time will be.

Personal Notes:

> My intent with creating this mod is to boost and maintain DOS2 players' in-game quality of life by way of improving or downright removing unnecessarily complicated or significantly inconvenient aspects of the game.

> My immediate goal for QoL Mods is to HELP relieve any added stress/quirks/bugs a game currently has, no matter how minute, so that players can spend the valuable time they have enjoying the game.

> My long-term goal is to make the modding community gain MORE fun and experience and additionally add MORE enjoyment out of their games. I get a kick out of making people happy, fixing stuff, and taking care of those genuinely good people out there. I

> I made this mod because I got tired of needing to be creative just to heal "FANE," my UNDEAD character.

> Ok, that's a lie. I just did it because this mod fixes an inconvenience that's been reported by many people and I didn't see a relevant mod for Undead Healing.

> But seriously, I made this mod because when I was new at DOS2, and I WAS playing as undead, I was lost in the sauce as to how to heal FANE outside of poison potions, poison puddles, etc.

02. STORY / DESCRIPTION

Undead: "Excuse me, do you have any Liquid Poisons in stock?"
Bartender: "I don't carry much of that these days, ever since Some nerd on Nexus Mods discovered a way to CAST the stuff."
Undead: "Wait, there's a spell for that now?"
Bartender: "Yep. "
Undead: "So, there is no demand for the bottled stuff anymore?
Bartender: "Nope, demand has dipped in favor of the pursuit of knowledge. No one asks for it anymore, so we rarely stock them."
Undead: "Very well. What is the name of this NEW Poison Spell?
Bartender: "I think it's called VENOM REVITALIZATION, or, something like that. It's a fancy name, is all I know."
Undead: "Venom-OUS Regeneration?"
Bartender: "That's the one! So you're familiar with it?"
Undead: "I heard the chant of it while I was traveling. It was near an area I chose to avoid."
Bartender: "Well I'm glad someone discovered a way. The bottles were frequently requested, but the individuals asking for them were extraordinary. I mean I asked them what they do with this stuff, but no one ever says. I'm going to ask you the same question I asked them. What do YOU use this stuff for?"
Undead: "Sorry, bartender. I have to head over to Nexus Mods. I'll tell you all about it the next time I come around."
Bartender: "THAT'S WHAT THEY ALL SAY!" *murmuring foul language under his breath*

@Nightfur: Is it currently not working? I'll pull up the ModEngine today and make some minor revisions and make sure it saves in accordance to the newest update (Definitive Edition). Thanks for your friendly reminder =)

Are you going to update this for the definitive edition? Thank you, love this mod!

@Saphire Gem: I don't know how to calculate that, it's a very specific question to a game mechanic I did not personally design or have intimate knowledge of. It scales just like all other skills' mechanics. That's a question whose answer lies within DOS2's inner workings, not within this mod itself.
