Vanilla Medium Clan Base

Description
This is a VANILLA base for a MEDIUM-sized Clan

I'm not gonna lie, there's a lot going on in this base, and it's going to take some skill to build. Here's why:

The Upkeep time on this base is OVER 24 HOURS!

Concept: Since one TC only houses 24 slots, building big bases is damn near impossible unless you have someone on 24/7. Here's the thing, you're not looking at 1 base, but 4 inter-locking bases (with small gaps to keep the build IDs separate), each with a TC that only needs to be refilled every 24 hours.

Tips on how to build: Several concepts you need to be familiar with. First, you need how to do *tight* double-wall stacks (8-squares out, example provided in fortify build). You also need to be familiar with Off-set foundations, and how they create ceilings every half-level. Lastly, you need to be familiar with how to keep build IDs SEPARATE (that means no foundations, ceilings or walls can touch between buildings). Last but not least, if you're familiar with TC-radius, you will know that this build requires that the outter TCs have to be built BEFORE the core expands, or else you will be TC-blocked.

Features: Multiple bedrooms, defense window floor, Heli-floor, furnace/refinery rooms, and viewable entrances.

Upkeep Cost - time:
Core = 20.1 stone, 1.7 metal – 24 hours
Outter Wing (x3) = 20.4 stone, 2.4 metal – 24 hours

Total Upkeep Cost: 81k stone per day, 9k metal
(for a 9-man clan, that's 9 stone nodes, and 1 metal nodes per day for each person)

Build Cost:
Wood: 42k+
Stone: 315k+
Metal: 70k+
(Build costs may vary depending on features inside. Be mindful not to add extra honey-combing that you don't need!)

Defensibility (distance to core):
- 5 walls to inner core
- 12 doors to inner core
(What this means, is if you keep the base all stone and sheet, it's 10-12 c4 to the core ... but every wall you upgrade to metal, and every 2 doors you upgrade to armored adds 2 more c4 costs)

Tech needed: Floor grates, vertical embraisures, horizontal embraisures, metal window bars, ladders, Shelves, large furnace, Garge Doors

Optional tech: Garden Stuff (water catchers, planters, etc.), Food Stuff (fridges, BBQs, etc.), ladder hatches, turrets, flame turrets, shotgun traps, lockers, beds, refineries, armored doors (double too)

It is entirely possible to build this base WITHOUT tier 3 tech, You can even build it without the large furnace, until you save up for one.

A lot of people have been asking for videos about this and other bases I've done with "split TCs". Video-Build master Vice finally got around to doing a base like this, and explains the concept pretty well, and how to execute it. It also show the *POWER* of what a split TC base can be when coupled with many other building-tricks.

Hope you Enjoy!

So, I decided to build a split TC base with a core that takes significantly more booms than what's presented here. I'm still withholding a lot of ideas in mnay base designs (armored windows, drop down vaults, stability bunkers, etc.) ... all I did on this new design is to show the power of a split-TC base, because you cna simply spread out the loot. Check it out!

So I ran into a problem and am trying to figure this out https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/458484100613931020/464934635785158657/unknown.png
You can run through the furnace area because the triangles arent close enough. Am I doing something wrong?

Lets be serious, I'm not going to show you ALL my secrets in one build ... this base represents an idea that adds defense to ANY base. Feel free to add it to your uber basement/bunker/abuse base out there!

You can build base that takes 10 c4 with upkeep of 3k metal and 5k stones

this base sucks.

As requested, I've made a base more suited to a "small to medium" sized clan ... 6-7 people.

check out the link. That base is about 3/4ths the upkeep cost.

Okay, actually, i found a more elegant way to deal with the foundations issues at the core. Basically, make the central TC w/ a door on one side and 2 half-walls on the other two sides, instead of full walls. The triangle foundations directly outside this triangle will also be lowered, and you'll place a floor floating directly above the those foundations, to simulate a continuous floor ... check out the updated pastbin and the last photo added if you'd like to examine this part more closely

NOTE** With the building changes, the 1st floor walls will change a bit ... instead of full walls on lowered foundations, you'll have to place half-walls on the elevated foundations next to it. This is really going to make it tough on placing the original TCs, as you essentially won't be able to wall in the core TC until the outter TCs are down
