Gambit Royale v2.0 [sp_camp]

Description
PART 2 in the Gates of ARMAgeddon series

Part 1 Shadow Fall https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=802767761
Part 3 Dark Tides https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2437763589

Gambit Royale is the story-driven campaign sequel to Shadow Fall, part 2 in the Gate of ARMAgeddon series. Ian Jones is a SFOD-D operator that has seen the horrors of humanity during his years in the US special forces. The missions can be described as atmospheric, character oriented, and plot driven. As the campaign progresses (especially if you played Shadow Fall), you may question if the actions of the antagonist are out of revenge, or the result of the protagonist inadvertently making the situation worse.

If you are looking for a "normal" Arma combat experience, then this is not for you. There is plenty of combat in this campaign, but it is built around a story with dramatic moments.

Features of Gambit Royale include:
Fully voice acted
Action packed cut scenes
Radiation simulation
Nuclear explosion effects by Alias
Dust storms
Overriden Arma 3 default player animations so you don't move around like you need the bathroom all the time
Missions in Chernarus, Takistan, Sefrou Ramal, Zargabad, and Malden 2035
Enemy factions include Chedaki, Takistani, and Ardistani
Some animations ported from Arma 2
LDL AC130 Gunship script-only version from Arma 2

Custom music by Tilman Selescu (used in original campaign)
Additional music by Ramin Djawadi from Medal of Honor and other sources

Major Changes with v2:
Natalia is finally back in the campaign (was in the original Arma 2 release)
Missions 1, 6 and 7 were completely remade. All other missions were partly rebuilt and modified.
I went for a Lawrence of Arabia vibe.

Have you played the old version? You may get an error on startup and will need to delete the old game save. It should be in Users\[your_user_name]\Saved, look for GambitRoyale and delete the folder.

Can you restore Part 3 to the Workshop while you work on v2.0? I'd love to get back to it.

I was working on a refreshed version early in the year, then I lost interest. There was some bugs and problems in the original. Let me think about what I will do. I appreciate the interest in it.

Hey AZCoder,
you got some Update, when Part 3 is available again?
Played your missions once and would be very happy to do so again :)

Sure I'll let you know.

That sounds very good! If you're ever looking for someone to test a mission, I'd be happy to help.

Denmark is playable in part 3 for some of it. I took it down several months ago because it needs updating very badly, and then my computer fried. Fortunately the last of the new parts arrive today to build a new PC, so I'll get back to Dark Tides very soon.

Have completed the second part and am once again thrilled.:steamhappy:
I liked the first part better because I got used to Pyotr Tsarev. In this campaign he is the enemy, but I like him!
I had a problem in the mission where you can use an AC130. The problem was, I didn't need it. Maybe I did something wrong, but after running 2km through the desert, the mission ends successfully.
Still I love the cut scenes, the music is perfectly chosen and you can tell how much attention to detail is behind it.
I really hope I can play Denmark again in the third part!
All the best and many greetings
