Description
I create a new page because I'm experimenting the error 8 on updating the mod in the old one https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1302481081 if someone know how to fix this error please write it in the comment.

Description
This mod improve the animations and it's intended to make battles more realistic but also more cinematics, perfect for videos.

This mod is a continuation of my series of mods for Rome II animations started years ago, I wanted to fuse in this mod all I learned to make a mod for every one and compatible with any other mods.

Animations changes:

- More variety in killing animations
- Improved infantry charge
- Improved cavalry charge
- Improved cavalry vs cavalry animations
- Improved sword without shield infantry animations
- Improved falx infantry animations
- Improved sword_shield animations
- Improved spear_shield animations
- Redone sword and shield 1 vs 1 animations system, now units go back and forth like a real 1 vs 1 and there will be no more loops of the same animations.
- Improved some custom DeI animations (I'm working on the others)

And more...

See the release notes for changelogs

FAQ:

- Compatible with DEI and Ancestral

- This is a complete and independent version of my series of mods, It's not compatible with my previous ones.

- The mod works fine with all possible other mods, if them made some changes in matched combat mechanics my mod will probably overwrite them (I named it to be the first loaded), anyway I can't test all possible combination of mods to be sure, try it, if it crash it's not compatible ;)

- For battle length questions: I think that free infantry battle length will increase over time but not drastically (I think that's reasonable), formed infantry stay in formation.

- For battle time questions: I think that don't change a lot, maybe having more 1 vs 1 combat it's a little longer, but infantry charge is more effective now so attacking from the rear have a strongher impact.

- Save game compatible.

- If you see an "!" on the checkbox of this mod, please check the "Enable out-of-date mods" option

Attila version: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1439277020

If the mod will result out-of-date please select "enable out-of-date mods" option and will work. [/b][/h1]

The battle won't load when I use this mod, but it loads fine after I unsubscribe. It's the only mod installed, yet it still doesn't work. help

Perhaps to someone with the technical knowledge: How come it seem that animations-mods like this lead to missing textures (body parts, weapons, shields and so on)? Or am I mistaken?

to all those people saying this mod doesn't work, please try reorder your mods. Or just put this mod at the very top to make sure it overwrites any other.

I have had this mod for almost 3 years along with DEI, it has always worked, and very obviously, because I don't have another animation mod to conflict with it.

there are to many 1v1s that break formation and take to long sometimes though.
