Enhanced Lift

Description
Enhanced Lift provides the ability to make a lift with named stops, hellavators up a 1024m high even on server clients, and has safety railings.

Lifts and compressors are placed the same as vanilla. Lift stops are placed at the level of each stop so that the left or right side aligns with the 3x3 area of lift. Pressing Shift-E allows configuring the name of the stop and how many lifts to the left or right side that are to be associated to the stop. Multiple lifts in a line can be grouped by setting the lift stop left or right count to the number of lifts to be associated with the stop. Pressing E will call the next lift not in use in the group.

On the lift the Home/End keys will change the destination to the prior/next stop for each press. Holding down control while pressing Home/End will place the lift in manual control mode and move it up or down manually. Pressing control-Del will place the lift in manual control mode and stop all motion immediately. Lifts in manual control mode will not respond to calls at stops.

On server clients there is only one lift for all players [2/6/2019 Disabled for now].

Key Binding Configuration

Key Binding can be changed by editing the NetworkTeleporterModKeyBindings.xml file. If the file doesn't t exist it will be generated on first time run.

To avoid conflict issues with Steam workshop updates, configuration files are now kept in a separate folder listed below by platform. Any old configuration files found in workshop folder will be automatically moved.

Windows: Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\ProjectorGames\FortressCraft\Mods\ModSettings\MadVandal.EnhancedLift

Linux: /home/<UserName>/.config/unity3d/ProjectorGames/FortressCraft/Mods/ModSettings/MadVandal.EnhancedLift

Mac: /Users/<UserName>/Library/Application Support/ProjectorGames/FortressCraft/Mods/ModSettings/MadVandal.EnhancedLift

Information on how configure key bindings is available in the Key Binding Configuration.txt file located in the parent folder.

Update 7/8/2020:
- Fix issue in single player where removing a lift leaves the Unity object behind.

- Fix issue with removed lifts on a dedicated server not being removed from the central collection and then breaking the network update process until server is restarted.
- Adjust maximum travel audio volume slightly lower.

- Fix issues with placed stops on clients not being recognized because a prior removed stop was not completely cleared.
- Fix changing of stop scan count settings from client not correctly reflecting on UI.

- Fix stop name changes not being transmitted from clients to server.
- Fix issues with client control of lift. Shared lift concept is disabled until all issues cleared.

- Lift speed for no passengers is now 48m/s.

- Fix distance from lift center where control is possible without being hit by the railing being too small.
- Fix railing colliders not being immediately removed when lift stop is removed.

seems sometime you removed the actual lift stop building so mod is ptey usless without it.

found a bug where if you place the STOP at 0m .. it doesn't link to the elevator. playing it at 1m works though.

Windows explorer search is crappy in that it only indexes certain file types and folders. You need to go to the local profile folder.

Key bind XML should be in the above folder for the OS you are running after being run once.

1. I cant find the keybind file anywhere, searched whole pc for file name nada only png files
2. no matter what i do the dang thing stops at 40 blocks from start

Ive noticed that just before the cold caverns, the lift accel to 27 m/s, Almost killing the player when you hit it (Player cant stay on it during this accel)
