Welcome to HARP , the Historical Accuracy Retexture Project!


What is This
HARP is a project I'm working on to create historically accurate units in Day of Infamy, starting with the German units and gradually working towards the Allied Powers. The Base Pack will be a requirement for future releases (Although all packs will work without it)

Features
This pack includes several small features, namely for the equipment, headgear, and insignia. Currently all normal insignia other than rank patches have been removed (No more Heer eagle on your SS skins) to allow for better fit when it comes to units. This only applies to German insignia, this will not remove Allied patches.
Included:
  • Rank Patches are now backed on bottle-green wool and are much brighter
  • Litzen, reichsadlers, and the totenkopf have been removed from the uniforms and schirmmütze
  • Fallschirmjäger helmet now boasts an eagle
  • German helmets have decals and some have names
  • Schirmmütze now has appropriate Heer coloring and insignia (Not adequate for SS, but DoI has more Heer units)
  • M43 Einheitsfeldmütze
  • M38 Feldmütze
  • Pocket pleats removed for the bump map (Still retained via texture, but allows for more flexibility)
  • Waffenampt stamps on some items, hard to see, but they are present
  • Pebbled leather for leather equipment

Yeah, I went ahead and changed the helmets to where now only one is apple green.

It's possible it's a name, some of the helmets have textures for a name.

I noticed a weird texture on the inside on the back side of the helmet of the 352. Infanterie Division

That's odd, maybe I'll swap the helmet colors of the two main helmets and see if it returns to a gray tone. If that's not what you meant, early war helmets were painted apple green.
