Immersive Sound

Description
I've logged thousands of hours in Total War titles and after a while you get tired of the non-stop aural feedback.

Clicks, Cymbal Crash, Metal Clank, Bell Chimes, Collapsing Rubble, etc...

I find that the constant ruckus takes away from the battle sounds as well, which should be the loudest moments of any game.

So, I present to you two modified sound files which will simply remove all the clang and clatter from the game (campaign and battle) without removing diplomatic voice-acting and battle noise.

I also removed all the terrible, cheesy unit dialogue ("Oi Mate, you look like you need to sneeze. etc..") which utterly crushes immersion at times.

Installation:

1. Follow this link to download the two necessary files:

mediafire DOT com/folder/z1xcx48rvvn6t/Immersive+Sound+-+Attila

2. Copy/Paste two files from your Attila data folder to a safe place for backup. These files are sound.pack and local_en_shared_rome2.pack

3. Now place my version of sound.pack and local_en_shared_rome2.pack into the same folder, and you're all set.

4. Unsubscribe from this mod, as it is just a placeholder .pack file.

Uninstallation:

1. To revert, simply drop your original files back into the Attila directory and overwrite the mod files.

is it possible to use the battles sounds of Medieval ii which are far better and more immersive than those of attila

Is there a way to increase the sound of a melee combat. I mean when I charge with my cavalry into the enemy infantry it should sound far more engaging. It should make me feel the weight of cavalry units but Attila does not do that.

This is out of the box compatible with any mod, even overhaul mods. They rarely touch the audio files I altered.

could you make it compatible with 1212ad?

I do have a problem. After installing, I'm still getting the voices on the campaign map unlike your Rome 2 mod. I am running the Ancient Empires mod if that has anything to do with it.
