Uranium And Platinum On Planets

Description
This only works with Vanilla game Planets.

This mod was done as a request and is a variation of my Uranium On Planets Again (Link Below) mod. While I enjoy the challenge of hunting space for Platinum or use Vanilla crash ship encounters to get my planet side platinum not everyone does. So I made this mod for those that requested it.

This adds Uranium to planets and moons, as well as Platinum to to planets. Down side is because you have limited ore slots per planet I had to remove one of the Uranium entries for Mars, Earthlike and Alien worlds. This means you'll see less uranium, and since the entries I replace were for the deeper ores you'll most likely need a large ship ore detector or a modded ore detector to see the Platinum.

@Updated to support Triton.
@-Updated to support Pertam

I've also have 3 version that only add Uranium.

Want Uranium like how it was before the Survival update? Use my there Mod that does that:

Want Uranium on the Planets and Moon but deeper so it's harder to find? Uranium On Planets Again - Deep:

Want uranium on Moons only? Uranium On Moons Again:

Should work fine with existing saves. Just be warned you might have to look for a while to find it. I use the original version I made with just Uranium and some times can find lots of it, other times spend quite a while looking.

Will I need to start a new game or will this work with an existing save?

Yeah works fine, test with just this mod and azimuth overclocked ore detectors on the earthlike and found both ores. But any other mods that mess with vanilla planet or their ores might interfere with this mod and it can't affect modded worlds. Look for magnesium deposits, they seem to have the highest chance of have uranium and platinum.

Does this mod work with the newest update?

This is a must have mod for me. When I started the new game, no uranium is detected within scanner range. So, I have no way of knowing if there happens not to be any around me, or if the mod is simply broken.

I think it's ridiculous that they removed Uranium and Platinum from the planets.

There should be a way to let the game use the default files instead of bloating the mod.

Some errors were triggered by file paths having both / and \ :
SteamLibrary\workshop\content\<mod_ID>\Textures /models/environment/folder/texture_file.dds

I got those errors to go away but there are others that are being a challenge. They should work if 'texture.dds' is called and a 'texture_cm.dds' and 'texture_Alphamask.dds' exists. All of the files are there. Some error, some don't.
Buggy game. :P

I'll clear the errors if I can.

Go ahead, I'm just modding the base files anyways. Frankly I'm a amateur at modding SE so the only fix I know of is bloating the mod by coping the files from the base game.

This is a great mod. The game's reporting it has a lot of errors. I read your previous comment, Stardruid. If you're not into fixing it would you please approve permission for me to fix and republish it? I will of course credit you and link the original (here) in the description.
I don't intend to fix them all but I might. Just this one for now.

I'd like to keep this one going, without errors, if you'd allow me to.
I'm aware I can make my own. It would be the same thing even if it I did do it from scratch.
Credit where credit is due.

Glad to see you found the mod causing issue. Unfortunately I don't play SE much these days so just maintain my current mods.
If you got the time thought it fairly simple to make your own version. All the files for this mod and the SE files are just text documents. If you get Notepad++ and it's comparison plugin you could compare my mod and the bushes ones. You'd just need then to copy the ore sections over for main planets and the 2 other newer planets over to the bushes files. While keeping each files official file name, save the modified files to a name folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods. It'll show up in SE in your mod list after that. It's more about time then difficulty really.
