Uranium On Planets Again

Description
This only works with Vanilla game Planets.

Simple and straight forward, returns Uranium ore spawns to planets (and moons), like how they where in previous space engineers versions. For those that of us that don't like being forced into a no Uranium planets challenge. Changes nothing else but return Uranium spawns.

Downside of this is Keen replaced all the Uranium spawns with ice, so means less ice mixed in with ores then with the current ore spawns.

This works in current saves as well, only issue might be ore deposits you've already mined into.

@Updated to support Trition.

@Updated to support Pertam 11-28-2020.

I've also made two more version of the mod.
Want Uranium on the Planets and Moon but deeper so it's harder to find? Uranium On Planets Again - Deep:

Want uranium on Moons only? Uranium On Moons Again:

Want Uranium And Platinum On Planets? Uranium And Platinum On Planets:

If you want a mod that add Uranium but makes it harder to find, plus modifies wind values to be more realistic, as well as other changes I'd recommend Nikolas Marchs mod:

Good to know, thank you.

In case your new and don't know about it "Alt-f10" brings up a menu that let you go creative. Then can hit f8 to go to spectator, move to that location near the ground then hit "alt+Spacebar" to teleport there. Can use Shift+mousewheel or alt+mousewheel to control travel speed in spectator. Can do the same thing to move your character back to your last location.

I've load it and just the Azimuth overclocked ore detectors and found uranium just fine on Triton . One issue is I had to set the ore detector to 1000m, any more then that and ore detector wouldn't work.It's a know issue with ore detectors on planets with a long range, game struggles with them since it scan ever single voxel of the planet for ores. In space it only has to scan each asteroid. I've gotten it to work with 2500m but it quits randomly, or could take 5 minutes or more to work on load of save.

Not sure if ores locations stay the same between different saves but try GPS location below. Copy it then us "New from Clipboard" in GPS screen. Or paste it into the chat box then turn it on in GPS menu. Check that location with your had drill.

Tried this mod the other day, new save on Triton, caused no ores to spawn. Checked in multiple locations with an ore detector that has a range of 3km

I'll have to check it later when I get some downtime. Sadly the game uses to grab the skybox from core game itself if you pointed it at the files, now I have to bloat the mod and have the skybox files in the mod itself. Might have forgot them with mod or something has changed.

This mod seems to affect the sky on Pertam - it looks weirdly banded and not really like a sky. I'm not sure if this also happens for any other planets.

No just using this on and no other ore mod (except for detectors) is used and still no uranium, will keep looking to see if I am just missing it

Like I posted with "Uranium And Platinum On Planets" where you posted about issues with that mod, this mod with just it and Azimuth Overclocked Ore Detectors it works fine. I'm able to find uranium just fine. Are you using both at the same time? You can only use one ore mod at a time, even mine will conflict with each other because of the way Space Engineers is coded.

I have used this mod in the far past and it worked fine, I decided to play the game again and now get no deposits where the deposits were previously, I cannot find Uranium anywhere. Is there an update planned?

@jmaster not sure if you still follow but just noticed I gave you the wrong mod id, it "1669754821".
it's the ?id=1669754821 part of the workshop url
