Description
The completely unanticipated sequel to my Line of Battle: Shogun 2 mod that never got updated past ROTS, and Josst's wonderful mod for Napoleon: Total War, Line of Battle: Rome 2 is here! Boasting more tactical game play, Lines of Battle intends to build off of what CA has given us and make combat in Rome 2 a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Features:
-Units are slower
-Fatigue has a slightly faster onset, and brings more of a malus
.-Melee is prolonged and tiring, and will not end after 5 minutes of combat.
-Units will hold the line much better, less blobs, more discipline.
-Morale is reworked, units still aren't lead by Gerard Butler or anything, but morale should be more dynamic.
-Romans have been bludgeoned with a nerf bat, eg: Hastati no longer have stats comparable to other factions elite units.
-Transports also taken out back and bludgeoned to death with the same bat.
-Three Versions included with various sizes: vanilla sizes are self explanatory, Moderate sizes are 1.5x and Large are 2x.
-Less difference in heights for units.
-Less dirt thrown up, and some impacts should have no dust. May increase performance, also looks better.
-Various and assorted balance and game fixes to make the game more enjoyable from my perspective.
-Naval missile changes, No more sniper ships.
-Campaign tweaked slightly, AI will be more expansionist, have less troubles with food, and should recruit better armies.

This version contains the LARGE UNIT SIZES
Note: Unit Sizes take effect in the campaign for all NEWLY RECUITED Units, not the starting ones.

Vanilla Unit sizes are also available (1x)
As are Moderate Unit Sizes (1.5x)

the nerf bat was my favorite phrase reading this thing. If you update this mod then I'm for sure gonna get it just because of those sentences. I'm dying

hello Guys, my units latge to 360 men a unit, and now I am having a problem with the AI when they come in at sea, some ships dont land properly, and I haved the battles set to no time limit, I faught a battle the other day which lasted over an hour! then later came to find out that there are still some enemie ships that has not landed just next to the beach and they are not moving! any advise please? thank you

is there any simple AI formations mod without tweaks, cz I already have mods that ae balanced in that area

There should be nothing changed to affect how formation attack works :S

It may just be me, but it seems the formation attack is not working properly now. Granted, it's never worked great, but they seem to be much more prone to scattering than they were on the previous iteration.
